  • I used to go past there all the time as a teen, I hoped to one day get to tour it, well there goes that!!!!

    The greenhouse gardens were wonderful. I got to see them only once. The next time I visited, they were destroyed. In this world you can't count on anything lasting. They would never allow you to see the house even from the outside. To get a sense of how Doris Duke lived, it is still possible to see her home in Newport, R. I.
