  • Thank you for posting this video. A takeaway message for me is in the final words: "You must not have contempt for your opponent. You must make peace with your enemy.

  • what the fuck do these stinking arabs want? they are a disgrace to humanity. and what do they do? do they try to get better? no. they decide that the real problem for them is that there is a tiny strip of land where jews are in control. why don't you go fuck yourselves? that's right. FUCK YOURSELVES! i have no pity for you any more and no interest in listening to your ridiculous grievances and self-inflicted suffering. i'm through with you. you useless morons.

  • what a joke, when Israel retakes Jerusalem (and all religions can pray in full confidence) its an issue of "two religions" and "strife for years to come." But when the Trans_Jordanians invaded Israel and illegally occupied Jerusalem (and denying Jews the right to pray at their holy site and limiting Christian worship) that is ok...

  • @1czechit1 Leftists just love authoritarian regimes. They will forgive them anything. They will never acknowledge the plain fact that Israel is the only civilized country in the entire region. Most western people would consider it a punishment to be forced to live in one of the Arab countries. I would live in Israel any day. In fact I would be honoured.

  • The video obviously shows that Israel beat Egypt, Jordan and Syria all by themselves, not only did we not help them but we opposed their plans for a first strike. Everything else is conspiracy theory to help wounded arab pride.

  • @aznsbd right.....nothing wrong to dream.

  • A truly excellent and accurate documentary. As an egyptian, I lived through these days and view this documentary with respect as part of our history as a human race. It is informative and factual for the most part and should be watched by all interested. I say to all sides, Please don't mar it with such heated shouting.

  • I agree that this is about the 6 days war, but it should have mentioned at least briefly how Egypt started military operations right after the Khartoum conference for 2 years, before Egypt agreed on Roger’s proposal of cease fire! Also, after showing the end of the 6 days’ war, the documentary jumped 40 years later without mentioning 1973 war and how Syria and Egypt attacked Sinai and Golan! It should have been mentioned briefly, as this was the reason behind Egypt’s peace treaty with Israel!

  • Interviewing “only one” soldier from the Egyptian side, is another thing that is a weakness in this documentary! Also the part that people were pushed to the streets by Nasser’s ruling party is completely wrong after Nasser decided to leave! It was not like this, people reacted naturally to Nasser’s speech. If we think about it, it’s is extremely hard to assemble thousands of men pushing them to the streets few minutes after the speech is done!

  • also Nasser’s unlimited trust in him and his capabilities of leading this army is another important reason!

However, I did not like that there were not enough interviews from the Egyptian and the Arab’s side, no one from the military leaders at that time, nor governmental officials with the exception of Nasser’s personal secretary, which is something that shows that this documentary is a bit biased!

  • I did not read all the comments on this video, but it seems that the discussions led to a religious debate! I don’t know why and I don’t want to know.

Although I’m Egyptian, I liked the documentary in general, it’s always a good thing to see the other’s point of view!

    The documentary contains excellent detailed facts on what led to this war in the first place! Abdel-Hakim Amer, the head of the Egyptian army was the reason behind this mess;

  • ISRAEL FOR EVER

  • As for the democracy. ... Israel perceived beyond human understanding do not talk about them they do not murder, demolition, destruction, and after all this you call to the world of good and virtue .. You may not be with you, but Treat a man like Hitler or Erdogan, who knows how to Alaipkm reveals to the world and very, very soon will declare a Palestinian state before the world and in front of your eyes ..

  • @didosasa2010 "very soon will declare a Palestinian state before the world and in front of your eyes"

Yeah, I know. He already did. So what? All you do is copy the Pagan Islamic priests who copy the Christian prophecy, theorists I guess you could say, and then claim to have forecast something. If you want to call it prophecy, you have to credit the authors, but Islam is nothing if not thieves of history. That is all it is.

  • @didosasa2010 I don't want to block you, but if you can't engage in dialog and simply rant, I'll block you and remove your stupid declarations. Those are the rules, I've been way too generous to blabber-mouthing fools.

  • @didosasa2010 "As for the democracy. ... Israel perceived beyond human understanding do not talk about them they do not murder, demolition, destruction, and after all this you call to the world of good and virtue"

I'm sure this makes sense to you in your head, but coming from Egypt you can't have had much opportunity to test your opinions. You simply believe Islam, because you were raised in a cult.

  • You have insulted our religion Islam, but not a tolerant religion invites us to question other religions .. Your religion for you is over religious .. But if this day came and you are alive to remember the highest I will be with this army and I swear that I will not live at the time, but I celebrate the recovery of Palestine ..

  • @didosasa2010 Whatever. Good luck with that. It might not turn out quite how you hope.

  • @didosasa2010 islam is an insult to intelligence and common decency. Just look at your stupid little "prophet" mohammed (piss be upon him). He was nothing more than a raving, psychotic, ass-backward terrorist who FORCED people to follow him. The fact you idiots are dumb enough to follow somebody like that speaks volumes about your intelligence. Now do us all a favor, and go blow yourself up. You know you want to.

  • @didosasa2010 he hasny insulted you "religion".....But I WILL......Piss on your pedophile so called prophet...Go have a bacon McMuffin and a bag of pork rinds, and wash them down with a nice glass opf manneshevitz....

  • constructivereconcil

Not ignorance, my dear It's a historical fact mentioned in the Qur'aan will come today and we will prevail on Israel and liberate Jerusalem from under your hands, O aggressors .. But the question is are you doing in Palestine, what Hitler did with you ..??

  • @didosasa2010 "It's a historical fact mentioned in the Qur'aan"

I pity anyone who believes any Islamic fiction. Don't you know that the Islamic texts are false? It's pitiful because never was there any reason to believe Islam, and only recently can we prove absolutely with consensus among all Western religious and secular factions that Mohammed lied or was deceived about history. All of the conflicts with the Islamic claims & the Bible are reconciled supporting Biblical claims, NOT Islamic.

  • Respond to this video... "But the question is are you doing in Palestine, what Hitler did with you ..?"

Supporting liberal democracy and truth over lies of a religion that was completely fictional from the start. A liar who invented "holy war" so evil he shocked his own kin with savage brutality and lies that drove deceived young men in to dying for the sake of his rape & pillaging, the child molester who convinced idiots to die for his depravity. What are you doing with those lies?

  • Long live Egypt .. Egyptians are able to repeat the October war, but this time the war will be in Israel

  • @didosasa

Egypt is occupied by mushrooms who think they created this amazing movement of freedom. Enjoy it while it lasts. It's a delusion & you've been used. It would be wonderful to be wrong in this case, but the Brotherhood has been working on this imperial project since the end of WWI.

"Egyptians are able to repeat the October war, but this time the war will be in Israel"

Truly clueless mushrooms. Look at the rhetoric @ the start of the film remember well the confidence they felt too.

  • ISRAEL FOREVEREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • Who can stand against Israel when GOd is on the side of Israel.

  • @Jasgent

Dead men and fools, but not for long evidently. I few days of delusion ends in death and dismemberment. What a testimony eh? This is my favorite film on this particular war, but even it has subtle anti-Jew statements. Still, if you pay any attention at all, it's hard to blame Israel for this mess, so picking on them at the end it pretty pointless.

  • once again the ignorant devil puppets of Satan think they can defeat GODs chosen people they will never understand they are going to hell

  • @dstone215 "There is little in the literature in the United States ( that I am aware of) that acknowledges this"

Please check in regularly & help build a grass roots voter education movement. I'd like to organize some documents, but the big opportunities are getting the hard left & the conservatives to each speak with language the other can understand. A lot of conservatives just assume all liberals are stupid, & don't patiently explain things. Plus some are dense, but just slow down & explain.

  • @dstone215 2/2

They are not serious about a state of their own. In fact there was just this month a survey revealing more than 2/3rds want to replace Israel, either with 2-state as a transitional tactic, or not. This is why Obama is so outrageously wrong for his position. If he has any knowledge of Islam, he should be aware that they have no separation doctrine. He makes me very angry. It's just so absurd. I'm glad I have no personal stake, because who knows what I'd do? I can't imagine.

  • @dstone215 "It is also important to note that the land meant for the Palestinian state that did not materialize is in the hands of Jordon"

That doesn't even begin to describe the fact that they have ZERO legitimate sovereign claims. The claims should either focus on individual claims, process them as any other similar scenario, & or if they were serious about a state, they need to get their act together & stop lying. I don't see it's even possible for them until they do stop all lies.

    1/2

  • @dstone That's what we need, more informed people teaching the deceived.

I think that 1of the huge opportunities we have are between now & the 2012 presidential elections. We have the tenth anniversary coming up for 9-11, & a lot of minds focused on these issues of Islamic imperialism, & Obama's overly cheerful appeasement tactics that do not even account for the fact that Islam has in its history both imperialism, & orthodox doctrines incorporating deception in its imperialist goals.

  • @constructivereconcil The USA is a child civilization to Israel, whether its offspring want to accept that, I can't say. But we are a nation of by the people for the people. Stick around and you can help too. :>)

I actually have a comprehensive plan, when I get enough audience to unwrap it. If I show too early, the imperialists will start to build their defensive lies. Islamic OPEC nations alone have TRILLIONS that are tithed. Think about that. People complain about AIPAC?! It's a little crazy.

  • Israel fought and won the war on its own, and in defiance of the US.

  • @margilydia

"Israel fought and won the war on its own"

That is absolutely true in every material sense. The superpower provacation was not of their doing, as some like to claim. The US backed Israel in threatening the Soviets, who came very close to sending bombers to fly missions (remember enemy air forces were destroyed). So the US merely stood up in stopping the Soviets, who admitted they provoked the timing, though it was too easy.

  • @constructivereconcil

"and in defiance of the US"

I don't agree with that. I understand why you say that, but it was more nebulous. Defiance is way too strong.

This is the single best documentary, for the "50 Years War" in hour 2 covers additional important testimony not revealed in this film.

    Thanks for commenting.

What a mess they've made. This is why we need to teach the facts & come to a decisive conclusion! Appeasers just encourage Islamic imperialism. If it weren't for Carter!!

  • Thanks for posting this. Adds a lot of clarity to the current situation.

  • @jabou916 Please feel free to send people here. Not for me, but this film and perhaps "Longest Hatred", "Nietzsche and the Nazis," Anti-Semitism in the 21st Century, plus Pierre Rehov videos, and "50 Years War" are a lot, but by the time you finish, news headlines from the Middle East start being so much clearer to you.

  • Exactly what "support" did the US give Israel prior to and during the 6 day war? Weren't those French planes the Israelis were flying????

  • @bdienstag "Exactly what "support" did the US give Israel prior to and during the 6 day war? Weren't those French planes the Israelis were flying????"

I don't see what you are referring to as "support." I need more context. No American planes that I know of. I have consistently said that from the time of the war, the US & allies should have placed its full support behind Israel. Britain was nominally "in charge" but far more concerned about managing resources it felt were too thin since WWI.

  • @constructivereconcil The US is mentioned in this documentary as Israel's main support, and Ally. I am not aware ( and I've read most everything one can read on the 6 day war) that the US did any thing whatsoever for Israel

  • @bdienstag I didn't catch that. Let me look in to it. The only references I remember are the Foreign Minister visit, the Mossad visit (both to US) asking for "show of support" ie running a ship through the straits etc "gunboat diplomacy" sort of. The Arabs also tried to blame the US for helping, which was vehemently denied. I just can't think what you might be referring to. I have the script somewhere.

  • @bdienstag The bottom line is that I agree with you, but I am hoping to clear up any confusion from the documentary. Let me know if you have more questions or would like any of the complete scripts.

  • @bdienstag about 18 minutes in - NARRATOR: With the UN gone, Eshkol hopes the superpowers will keep the situation in check. In a world divided by the Cold War, the US is Israel's major supporter.

I think this is commentary about political support, especially in the context of the UN. The reference to the superpowers implies bluffing politically, but also noting that in the superpower equation, Israel is in the US corner. Which by the way was not always true in that the Soviets initially

    1/2

  • @bdienstag 2/2

As to why's Israel in the US corner of the superpower equation: In '48 the Soviets also tried to flatter & woo Israel, but the Cold War progressed such that the Soviets wanted to show their arms IN WAR & gave them to the enemies of Israel for the explicit purpose of causing a war to show the arm's performance. I'm quoting a Soviet diplomat from "50 Years War" hour 2.

To answer your original question, the US did not support Israel in the 6-Day War except politically with threats.

  • @constructivereconcil

Here's the text from the Soviet Diplomat (source: documentary, "50 Years War"): Evgeny Pyrlin - Soviet Foreign Ministry: "We believed a war could bring us political gains. Even a stalemate could bring us benefits. Egypt had our backing, both political and military. We thought their forces would demonstrate the benefits of Soviet support. So we were confident that the balance of power in the Middle East would be altered by a localized war."

  • this whole conflict is inherently tied into Jewish history as it pertains to the Torah. there is no going around it. it didn't start in 1948...it started with Ishmael and continues to this day.

this is not your regular run of the mill foreign policy case/dynamic. it goes much deeper and there are spiritual/metaphysical aspects to it.

for instance, why is it that the entire world cares about what goes on here even though some of them have no connection to it?

  • @DeepHauz13 "this whole conflict is inherently tied into Jewish history as it pertains to the Torah. there is no going around it. it didn't start in 1948"

I don't disagree with you, but it is not productive or constructive to debate or ask nonbelievers to make decisions based on evidence or beliefs that are not provable. Or put it another way, if you ask for something on the basis of faith, you can't ask nonbelievers to support this. It confuses people, in fact that is key...1/2

  • @DeepHauz13

1st the myth of some history, then the other myths (that its existence is predicated on myths) that contradict it. Here is what I have said consistently: We have consensus on the history of that region starting in about 500BC. We know that religious Muslims use a version of history that contradicts Western consensus, which means religious + secular agreement. Why should the West support an Islamic entity at war with an ally, even when it denies facts of history?

  • @DeepHauz13 "this whole conflict is inherently tied into Jewish history as it pertains to the Torah. there is no going around it. it didn't start in 1948...it started with Ishmael and continues to this day"

We don't have consensus past 500BC. We know Islamic history is false before Mohamed. It doesn't really matter whether or not we accept their bogus claims about Ishmael. Even if true, it doesn't even come close to justifying the lies built on top of Ishmael (the claim). Focus on consensus.

  • Islam has absolutely NO connection to Jerusalem. It is not mentioned even once in the Koran. Not sure what responsibility King Hussein had. maybe to protect Mecca, but not Jerusalem.

It is the Jews responsibility to protect Jerusalem.

  • @DeepHauz13 "Islam has absolutely NO connection to Jerusalem. It is not mentioned even once in the Koran. Not sure what responsibility King Hussein had. maybe to protect Mecca, but not Jerusalem."

Actually you reminded me of one of the biases; in the end they talk about clearing out homes, but they fail to mention they were built on land seized in the 1948 war, on the destroyed Jewish Quarter of the Old City.

It's well-balanced overall, but far from perfect.

  • @DeepHauz13 To anyone who wonders why I don't call out biases that favor the Jews of Israel, it's because I won't even go near religiously-motivated films. They are not appropriate for public debate concerning government policy. I guess I could contrive of some phony way to illustrate this if anyone doubts me.

  • @constructivereconcil "They are not appropriate for public debate concerning government policy."

i hate to break it to you, but in order to understand this conflict, and the current clash of civilizations, you have to understand why the Jews came back to that piece of land and not Madagascar, Uganda or wherever else, and why Muslims want to kill us, not just in Israel but everywhere in the world.

thus, the events of 1948 and 1967 are just one of many biblical stories.

  • @DeepHauz13 "why Muslims want to kill us, not just in Israel but everywhere in the world."

You completely miss my point. I am not in denial of any facts, but I believe that when you use "the kitchen sink" approach, you give rise to criticism that you *depend* on myths to exist today. Focus on facts, so that you have consensus. You won't lose as many liberals that way. After all, most people have no clue that Islam is totally destroyed by history. Take away Islam's lies by focusing exclusively.

  • @DeepHauz13 "i hate to break it to you, but in order to understand this conflict, and the current clash of civilizations, you have to understand why the Jews came back to that piece of land and..or wherever else, and why Muslims want to kill us, not just in Israel but everywhere..."

You still miss my point. Be careful you don't conflate. The enemy exploits this error. Keep the arguments separate. Answer their theology with your theology & their secular arguments with your secular arguments.
