I've seen Sugizo live with x Japan in Utrecht a couple of weeks ago, and I was stunned. The way he stands on stage and plays with the audience is simply amazing. I hope to see him again live someday
There are two people with blatantly no taste or eye for talent. Sugizo is one of the most brilliant and astoundingly profound musicians out there. Just watching him perform live and his intense energy is something to marvel at on it's own. The man is a talent, plain and simple.
@WhisperzIshBored Did you just crawled out from under a rock or are you that ignorant?! Enola Gay is the name of the B29 bomber that dropped the ATOM bomb on Hiroshima, you IGNORAMUS!
@WhisperzIshBored Did you just crawled out from under a rock or are you that ignorant?! Enola Gay is the name of the B29 bomber that dropped the ATOM bomb on Hiroshima, you IGNORAMUS!
I asked Sugizo to release the song, last year when I met him and he said that it might be part of the new album, he is planning... he wanted to release it this year, but I doubt, that he'll find the time.
Pretty cool to have on a pick. I actually have one of his guitar picks that I ended up catching when X Japan did their music videos in Hollywood. I have a video of them filming Jade on my channel if anyone wants to check it out.
EINxSOF you should never assume becuase it makes an ass out of you and me, only joking seperate assume it's quite funny. But yer I didn't actually know that the bomb was named after that either, thanks for the upload though.
The song is not only about Hiroshima and/or Nagasaki, but nuclear power in general and the disasters it has caused all along history. Remember there is also Chernobyl...
Your actually wrong. The Enola Gay was the name of the aircraft, a B-29 Superfortress bomber. The bomb that fell on hiroshma was named 'little boy'. And the name 'Enola Gay' was actually the pilots mother's maiden name.
NO WAY!!!! ORIGA AS VOCALS!!! I was typing something then I heard her voice, then I checked the description to se if my eyes were deceiving me.. WOWOWOOWOWOW!!!! SUGIZO
Thank you for the upload and for the links to where I can buy this! Sugizo is one of my favorite guitarists... second only to Hide :D It is always amazing to watch him perform.
That solo near the ending just blew my mind, such speed and precision.. I was never much into visual kei but sugizo became one of my favourite artists over time.
In the pantheon of guitar gods, Sugizo is right up there with Hendrix, Satriani, Beck, Clapton, Santana--all of them have skills, but it's the passion and soul for the music that makes them truly great.
Origa's vocals are just heartbreakingly soulful and you can hear the prayers of hope in her voice as well as the horror of war.
And who's that bass player? Those lines are fat and heavy and I'm loving them!
I agree with you, passion and soul, with so much emotions and feelings but even then they sound so cold and unknown, like they are't there... This is music, or art.
Place where are Santana and Sugizo life music is S(ecret) RANK , their music is no more human, but like Sugizo said, part of Cosmo and Earth, far from inter ourself.
Sometimes I would even say Sugizo, his point of live view and music, are something more then others, but different types..
Guess you didn't read my post. For me it's not enough to be super-fast or technically brilliant. There's got to be heart and soul and passion in the music. It's got to MEAN something. Malmsteen lacks that. His music is just cold--not to mention he's an utter a**hole to his fans and I don't respect that. I did leave out Chris Oliva (of Savatage before he passed away). My bad. His playing was amazing and had so much feeling.
Actually hes got some feeling but I did say something stupid instead of Yngwie put Uli Jon Roth now thats the original and the list I gave you are of the most soulfull and technical guitarrist around.
No, 'Sugizo' can't be a guitar god. There's a thing about him.. and is art&passion, spiritual cosmic music, stage presence of none before him had. Sugizo is one, and only musical art to be listened, and not respected for some technical skill, what in other sense don't use. Other then that, he is soul&human to tell them beauty of art music, to not forget who you really are..
Actually, Sugizo is one of very, very few true greatest music artists in Japan music rock/metal/spiritual&cosmic history. This concert was the evidence of his stage presence, ambient and atmosphere, just something called 'art'. His rock songs performed live, not just sound better, but are more music complete than Metallica or Dream Theatre, worldwide recognized.. Pitty, Grammies should went to him in 2008 for performances, but corruption everywhere.
Actually agree a lot, Grammies today(did ever?) represented something. Someone as Sugizo also don't need awards, he did reached that step of art, of expression, of stage presence, very few did. One of the very few true legendary rock act(s) in Asia, alive. For our better future, for our better today, for art!
If I recall correctly, last year he said in some interview that one of the reasons he was hesitant on joining X JAPAN at first (as support back then) was that the music was too heavy for him, it wasn't his style - but I digress, he does great at it! Hell, he does great at any style he plays... but yeah, as for joining a metal band I think X is as far as we're gonna get (plus he already has his hands full as it is ;;;^_^)
