As someone who owns both a Corvette and a Mercedes, I can tell you that vettes win, hands down. As the occupant in the car says, "He took off later". Not a race!

Love the AMG... but a 430/436hp w/ exhaust valves corvette will eat the SLK. The 08 vette can run high 11's stock...

You should know that with ecu and pulley upgrade (wich is common) SLK runs 12´s. Stock runs 13.00. Basic corvette has no chance....

The Corvette driver did not even race...he took off normally, therefore this wasn't a race at all...
