Still one of my favorite bands. I remember when they played here (Halifax, NS) in the 80's and after the show the crowd destroyed the inside of the ferry boat

@CanuckfanNSTGS Hey there, I was at that concert too and had the sardine experience in the ferry back to Dartmouth. Then the bus ride up Portland Street was nutso too. I kept those ticket stubs for a long long time...but one day I couldn't find them. I dunno what ever happened to them. It sure was a fun nite tho.

Thank you very much for taking the time to download these classics for us to enjoy. I love everything April Wine, and I'm very proud that they are Canadians! Great guys too, every one of 'em. I saw them in recent years again, playing at a little club down the street called "Animals". We parked a table right by the speakers and rocked our Canadian asses off on the dance floor! They were backed up by Allanah Myles. April Wine is a Treasure, and so are you AtomicEnerG.

And since we're bragging...haha...I hate saying this because it so exposes my age, but when I first saw April Wine in 1974 for the "Stand Back" Tour, they pulled out a cannon and shot burning confetti all over us in the front rows, backup band was Heart. Then on the "Whole World's Goin' Crazy" Tour, they brought out a 20 foot madhatter on stage, and it was swinging the world on a chain. Hey, maybe it's not so bad to be this age, because I got to be there, and have some fine ass memories.

I love this song.....It takes me back to the summer of 78....I think that I still have the 8 track! Saw them at the Docks in Toronto about a decade ago. The best 5 bucks I've ever spent!!!

They still play here in British Columbia quite often. My best friend just saw them again about a month ago at the Commodore, April 16, 2011. If you like April Wine, make sure you check out The Guess Who and The Stampeders, which are two other Canadian bands that came up during the same time. The Guess Who was the original band that wrote and performed "American Woman" in 1970, but lots of Americans that I've talked to don't seem to know that, they think it's Lenny Kravitz' song.
