  • in this aria you can really feel how magic the magicflute is

  • what is the scene all about? nice rendition :)

  • @piggypenny

tamino is searching for pamina. he is still confused about sarastro and the temple. his only hope is the flute thus he plays it and sings about its supernatural forces (animals are forced to dance in a positive way), kind of admires it. at the beginning of the final part of the aria he hears "papagenos note" and gains hope again. finally he runs away to find papageno and pamina. still any questions?

  • @FULFfiction lmao animals are forced to dance in a positive waay lmfao

  • I like this rendition very much.

  • Less arrogance, more knowledge and wisdom would be good for everyone.

And what matters most... Long live Amadè!!!

  • Not to be profane or anything, but you're a fuckin' douche, man.

  • CC, here's an idea:

shut up and enjoy the fuckin music.

    Sorry Francisco, carry on.

Wonderful rendition; Francisco is one of my favorite tenors in all of his repertoire. Everything from Mozart and Rossini to Wagner and Tchaikovsky... this guy has quite a list!

  • Hey CC, besides, those are monkeys, not gorillas. That's why their no wearing hats. Duh. Seriously though, this guy is totally not doing it like Mozart because he's not wearing a wig. My band conductor told us that you always have to wear wigs when you play his songs. Our wigs were hand made and we did a better performance than this one. At 1:48 one of the monkeys is totally out of step. We got all perfect scores and a 9 for artistic quality in our competition, but we had wigs.

  • CC, what are you talking about???? You should stick to commenting on videos of people sticking frozen pies up their noses or wrestling. You clearly know nothing about O-P-E-R-A, this is a famous area by Mozart. I play in the band too, and I know my band could totally kill your band's. We just marched a hole show while doing a Mozart song called Marriage of Figero. It has a totally hard flute part that I'll bet you can't even read. We all wore wig-hats because we were in period costumes.

  • My dad told me this is some sort of oprah by Andrew Lloyd Webber (sort of like Cats if you've ever heard of that song) and the meaning of it is that people who don't play music are stupid and ignorent like bears and gorillas. I totally agree. Me and my friends in band are totally better than the jocks and the cheerleaders and the Goths etc, blah blah blah. Our band has one Goth kid (frosh) but she'll probably get kicked out after the chair test. Nobody likes her and she cant play Sleigh Ride

  • The girl who won the Gorilla #1 audition was being all like, "Gorilla's don't wear hats". She doesn't even play in the band. What a TOTAL loser! At least I have that musical training and can bring that to my part. People actually said I did a better job than her. My gorilla hat rocked...

  • My high school played this piece for our Harvest Celebration concert this year and I was selected to be Gorilla #2. Everybody thinks that the singer is really playing the flute and has taken flute lessons (probably like $25/hour) but if you look really closely, the flute is being played in the other room. My gorilla costume was better than the ones in this video because it had a hat.

  • why is this aria always so hard to find? so many people think tamino only sings one aria.

  • This aria is part of a larger segment in the opera. Because of that, there isn't really a good stopping point before it moves on to something totally differeent, except on the singer's last note. Since that last note wasn't really meant to be a stopping point, even though the harmony makes it possible to stop there, it's a pretty abrupt stop.
