  • Is this guitar the same as the Dean VMNTX United Abominations? Or do they sound different? x

  • man that is great cover. line 6 uber metal is brutal like i se h?

  • awsome good playin, hahahaha LOL "The Kramer" Poster, cool

  • is that a good guitar for megadeth, metallica, slayer, death (rip chuck), all that kind of Thrash and Death Metal...?

  • hell yah it is for slayer except the string needs to be replaced its to whiny

  • hey! nice video! you look like jimmy page :P

  • hey I love the sound of your amp O.o Im used to line -6 amps sounding like butt... but yea you got me thinking about pulling a cover of this song too :D That way people could compare the RG2EX1 to the deans o.o

  • lol thats the cheapest setup i ever had. the cab was in shambles - it was toured by Norcio to cali and back in 08 and it rolled off a stage. im mainly a bass player now, but that was my favorite amp. had a chance to sell it for more than i paid for it so i figured why not.

  • btw, its not a Line6...it was an ibanez half stack, Line6 effects. just caught that lol.

  • Hmmph... Still sounds really nice :3 I use a Ibanez Half Stack myself (the TB100H old ones) and run the guitar thought a metal muff ... Sounds pretty decent... and I just replaced the caps in the head so now it has more pushpull power :3 well anyways nice cover :P.... Oh btw how did you record this? Just camera? I've been searching for a way to direct record my guitar (distortion wise) but it sounds horrible/nothing like just straight from the halfstack head/desk* ok well thanks again :3

  • lol same amp as i was using in the vid, not the new TB150x. yeah, just camera. ive always had the same problem. maybe just get a good condenser USB mic (100 bucks, maybe more.) and Audacity or another recording program. i have no idea how to put it with the video but that will give you pretty good sound.

ibanez amps just seem to have that great tone, even though the amp distortion sucks. kinda still wish i had it lol. i only paid 200 bucks for the whole thing, and now my friend has it. :-\

  • thank you for having someone acually be able to play and give a demo of how this guitar sounds. thanks man.

  • thanks for watching!

  • is the input on the guitar in the place it is here or like it is on guitarcenter? cause on guitar centers pics, the inputs on a stupid place

  • obviously mine is like that, but who knows what it is this year.

  • iv got the same guitar

  • i sold it recently. good guitar but my other two were still more quality guitars and sounded better

  • Cool, i've been looking around at a bunch of V guitars for a decent price. Just one last question then. Have you had any problems with it at all?

  • none at all! theres a little pop if i happen to move the cord, not even through the amp, i can just feel it through the guitar, because the jack is loose. its a great guitar for the price.

  • hmm sounds good, thanks for your help.

I guess i'll have to play this next to an esp v and find out which to get.

  • lol ive been looking at esp Vs to back up my vendetta and V. ive heard some of the lower end ones and they even sound great. even though ive yet to play one theyd probably give mine a run for its money. im just a dean junkie and i love the 80s BC Rich-esque headstock though.

  • Hey man love the sound and playing! I've been looking at a bunch of flying-v's in a decent price range for decent material. This is the bolt-on neck you are using correct?

  • yep. X series mustaine sig, ive never played anything that great for 300 bucks, it even sounds great. heel is nice and rounded back too though.
