Whenever I would play this game via Emulator, the Ramp was all I'd play. That said,

@mrmullety I usually just grab an emulator that records my button presses and also saves avi files. I've had a lot of trouble in the past with videos not recording properly, or not even saving videos, and I figure it's the best way to do it without lagging the game.

I probably have some of the highest hours logged into this ramp mode. his was the only game in my NES, all through high school, and sometimes after. I was ALMOST that good, but this video is definitely a more solid run than i ever threw down in my life on it. I could consistently get the "way cool dude" rating at least and nail those flips and spine transfers. But I like your trick selection and style, even with the limited bag of tricks, yes, i say it, STYLE can come through on this game.

I always found the ways the guy could die hilarious, especially on the center pipe when the guys body split in half and the dude's head just stayed there. I always kept trying to reproduce that instead of getting a good score.

Eh, those birds make your time count down faster til they go offscreen. I touch em for shits and giggles. But the first time you get a star. I think there's something on the other side but I don't remember how to do it, if it even exists. As for pulling off the one trick, it has something to do with pressing the trick button at the peak of the jump or something, but I just triple-tap it and it seems to work for me.

well, besides getting lucky tapping it yourself, if you have a turbo controller with seperate regular and turbo buttons (4 buttons instead of 2 in other words) you can initiate it with the regular A and then hold the turbo A once the trick starts. I did this for a whole run and only missed it once, I got like 225,000 points.
