hi , i am mike , my English is not good, i hope u can understand my meaning. i begin to learn classical guitar for 1 year , now i need to learn and practice this song , but i think it's very difficult , i agree you said "It might seem easy, but it's not."...........anyway , thank you for your demo , you play very well !!
Merci very much Julie pour your com on my video, you also play very nicely...I for sure don not have grace and charm as you have whn you play...it is a pleasure to see yu and hear you every times!
Wuuuuuuuaooo de verdad impresionado mucho talento, mil felicitaciones todos tus videos los he descargado para practicar y escuchar de vez en cuando,, exitos y mucha suerte.!!!
Wow you make that look so effortless. Where do you get he liquid for your humidity cases? I have looked at a few music stores, but can't seem to find it.
Generally, the opening and closing chord signify the keynote, or tonic. The final two chords, as a rule, should be a PAC (perfect authentic cadence); meaning a V or V7 in root position, followed by a I chord, ideally with the keynote in the soprano voice. This is one way to i.d. the key, aside from knowing key signatures, which in the key of D major would be 2 sharps - F# and C#.
This is a very nice piece and very well played. I've been watching you for a while. I guess since you have gotten so big on YouTube you have decided to fire the bird and stop doing that adorable wave. Haha!!
Sorry Julia, i though you were a fellow country woman that is why i wrote in potuguese. may i ask you who Ferrara is? and let me indicate some nice and nor too difficult authors: Attilio Bernardini and Henrique Pinto. The last one is a teacher with very nice litle pieces. Andplease post more. Bye
I really want to learn this one- but don't think I'm ready for it yet. You make it look easy- but I've looked at the music and know that it isn't. Thanks for sharing.
I almost gave up on this one. I played it very very slowly at first. Then one day, I found out I could play it at an okay speed. That's when I posted it.
Thanks for this Julie . kemps Jig was a very popular tune in England around the 1580's-you could say it was in 1No 1 in the Elizabethan hit parade at the time !
Will Kemp was a Shakespearian Actor who for a bet danced for 80 miles from London to Norwich... He did it in 9 days and won £100 which was a huge amount then.
Hi Julie, greetings from England, you play the Jig with great delicacy and fluidity, I thought I had it sorted until I listened to your rendition. DOH !!!
Hi Alain! That's nice to know. One of my friends here on YT used to call me "Jolie" and I thought it's the French for Julie, so in some of my replies to him, I wrote my name as Jolie. Shame on me!!
Not far from the way we say it. However I guess your "leyn" sounds like a diphtongue (like in a-gain ?), while here it's only one sound as a whole, which, AFAIK, doesn't exist in English.
I'm not yet experienced as you are on YouTube; is it welcome to be a little too far from the topic ? ;-)
Very nice playing and a very calm right hand(good technique)!
I know this exactly, the feeling when I play with the recording camera...its never the same like without...its like when you play with audience, some kind of nervosity...but that belongs to a public rendition I guess.
That was awesome! Great sound balance with all the strings. It looks like you play it effortlessly. As always, I'm looking forward to your next video.
