if you notice everything red is blue because scorpion cuts are blue, the health bar, and ever time thery hit each other the blood that comes out is blue.

In my opinion its heat problems xbox360 motherboard videocard overheat and change colors it happens on ps3 too ,or Personal Computers so we change to water cooling etc on PCs... it's a sign something is wrong

Ppl, there is no alternate costume. their outfits change color if ur either the same character or on the 2nd player spot.

weird, indeed. DO characters have alternate costumes on this game? I mean, if both players pick the same characters do they have alternate costumes or do they just get a darker/lighter rendering?

Yes they do have alternate costumes, press start instead of pressing a, or x, to choose your character.
