@emeryDH I agree, but I gotta give credit to the English and Canadian crowds. Like, the last two TV shows from WWE this week [or, the main ones, Raw n SmackDown] from Manchester had pretty great crowds, and I remember a few months ago they were up in Canada and got huge reactions. The mass-consumption audiences here just aren't as into it anymore, probably cuz 1) it's not a great show and 2) a lot of the "older" demographics are only there NOW cuz of their kids, thus don't really care. =/ sad.

@ChaostheClown I agree, its probably because the ROH audience is the "core" pro wrestling fans compared to mostly kids in the WWE audience, no offense to any kids. I really want to go to a ROH show when they came to my state :D

If WWE can step it up and start putting on a really great show [they've been slowly improving, but it's still..slow...lol] then us core fans would be glad to react accordingly. But hey, we got the likes of ROH, CHIKARA, just about everything that comes out of Japan, and all of that jazz haha. So it's okay I guess >.>

@ChaostheClown ive been thinkin the same thing about wwe actually, it had improved... but like you said, its been a slow process. i had been watching TNA for a bit but Hogan is makein it worse every week. the cable shows give you about 85% promos and skitty type stuff and 15% wrestling. and the wrestling now is just getting redundant. im thankful for ROH and a couple more on the indy scene. wwe dont do enough and tna overdoes everything. just look at how tna's been useing blood over the past yr.

You know a lot of people on this site that watch these classic matches and great wrestling talk about how much WWE sucks and how boring it is, however it still gets 5-6 million people watching it every Monday night.... So, if you don't like WWE, don't watch it! I know I don't!!! Support real professional wrestling like TNA and ROH. Your local independant wrestling company. If we keep paying Vince he'll keep cramming crap down our throats, so stop! :)

Yeah that's right. I've noticed more characters/gimmicks evolving over the past year or so, which I believe is a good thing. I've been following ROH since it's inception in 2002, but I've always been an on-again off-again fan because I've always been bored with the lack of character depth. But lately I've found myself hooked on it, which is what I think they're trying to do. They've got the best wrestlers in the world and that niche audience in their back pocket, now they're trying to expand.

It is more of a wrestling instead of hardcore stuff. They have both, but more of the matches are regular. But the hardcore matches are awesome too. You NEED to see the Ladder War and the Boston Street Fight with Briscoes vs Steen and Generico. Then the ROH VS CZW Cage of Death is awesome too.
