  • try my cover:

    /watch?v=6nKnLlZQaMA

  • One of the greatest concerts I ever went to!

  • Im glad I saw them on their OP:Mindcrime tour in the late 80's..best album of the 80's

  • They are living legend for me.

Still waiting for a band to match them...it's gonna be a long wait...

  • To me, DeGarmo was the most consistent live singer Queensryche ever had. Guy's so good.

  • @funforalgernon - I always thought Queensryche's secret weapon live was Chris and Eddie's background vocals.

  • @Kannebas ...agreed!! Geoff is a very powerful force though too!!

  • @vinnie6576 - Of course. But Geoff's voice isn't exactly a secret, is it? =D

  • I finally got to see QR 2 weeks ago. I'm so sorry I missed them in the "old days"...anyway, I can die happy now.

  • 20 years ago????? fuckin aye! time passes quickly,...prepare to die

  • Love that live outro

  • OH MAN!!! THis is awesome!! I was there 2nd row center!!! It was the first time I saw Queensryche. Two months later I found this bootleg on VHS at a music convention!!! Great POST!!!

  • I saw them in Pittsburgh in June 91 with Suicidal. Awesome.

  • @Beholder505 You bastard!!! I'm sooo jealous! LOLOL. Bet that was a heck of a show!

  • @danimal97520 Yeah, it was awesome. I wish I could find that show. I would love to relive it.

  • I'd love to go back to that show too, I'd strangle you in the bathroom so future me wouldn't have to read your bullshit.

  • @wallyaldo You reek of inadequate anger.

  • 5:28 wait wtf?

  • I remember this!! I was at this concert Empire & Operation Mindcrime Best hard rock band in the world! xoxo I met Goeff twice in 1996 He is a verynice guy, sexy as hell.. much love to he and his family

  • THE EYES OF A STRANGERS!!!!!OGM~~~~~~~

  • Great record!!!

  • This is an incredible performance. It even sounds amazing for having been most likely originally recorded in a VHS format, which has terrible sound quality, but these guys still manage to make this sound AWESOME!

  • I want the original line up of Queensryche back!

  • I bet the one negative vote was because the whole concert should've been included.

  • @ThemisLiveTube

No, it was most likely pressed by accident.

  • Man, they were damn perfect back then.

    I miss this Queensryche.

This band in this form could come back today, and dominate the music scene i think.

  • @peacesells They're in the studio, but I don't think DeGarmo is back yet.

  • @JohnnyCakesDoja When DeGarmo and Tate finally get it together again, they will rule the hard rock world one more time. Its gonna happen. Eventually they will get tired of making these terrible albums year after year, and eventually and hopefully write a really really good song like a Empire or a Jet City Woman or a Eyes of a Stranger, and then they will take over once more. Its only a matter of time i think.

  • best concert ive ever seen......and everyone i know who have operation mindcrime still play it...its timeless

  • How exactly did Geoff lose is amazing voice?

  • @ub3r2008 saw them last year...he didnt they were outstanding live still

  • queensryche were great, but not anymore.

my only criticism with them is geoff does dramatise things a little too much for my liking apart from that i would say they were by far the best metal band around at the time,

  • The performance of "Mindcrime" is always the high-point of any Queensryche concert. Like Rush's 2112, this album was Queensryche's creative manifesto, their masterwork, and another shining example of what can happen if the artist pursues their passion without outside hinderance.

  • So many chills at the breakdown at 2:30. Geez.

  • Geoff and Rob. I'm beginning to think they're both from that newly-discovered earthly planet.

  • I just got FN chills all over again!

  • AMAZiNG*! =)

  • my all time favorite concert tour........

    buffalo,ny 91-----front row, center stage,

    goot times!!

  • One of the best performances of this song I've heard. It just amazes me how awesome it must have been to see Queensrÿche around this era - surely some of the best live performances of our time?

  • I love how Tate shows his emotions in not only his voice but the way he acts on stage. Adds a whole new emotion to the song. I noticed Roy Khan from kamelot does the same thing. Its really awesome and its one of the few reasons they are the best singers in metal.

  • He reminds of Axl a lot in his movements. :)

  • one of the best singers, but number one ever Michael Kiske, and what a f@&!ing album!

  • Did you see that at 5:28! He jumped off of the stage.

I love when singer (and other band members) go along to the music and stuff. Soo cool!

  • Whenever I hear those tandem solos by DeGarmo And Wilton I still get a rush! What a beautiful thing. A Harmonized solo! If only any band today could come close to this level of musical maturity and grace. It seems today all you need to do to call yourself a "musician" is a bunch of pre-made loops and screaming and growling into a microphone. I feel sick when I listen to radio today. Mediocrities rule the day now.

  • The guitar interplay between Chris and Michael was incredible, especially those harmonized parts. They weren't just shredding or showing off, but their playing was remarkably melodic and mature. Both seemed to have a great understanding of composition and melody. Looking back, it's a bit odd to think that Queensryche had a Top 10 hit in their heyday. You just don't hear this kind of playing in mainstream music anymore....

  • He is fantastic but is he better than Steve Perry?

  • Steve Perry isnt a pimple on Geoff Tates ass!

  • @johnzarcone No! Steve Perry is the best rock singer ever

  • @johnzarcone Steve Perry has a wider voice range, but Geoff Tate; one of the top five metal singers ever.

  • Hey what about nthe drummer he is the best drummer ever

  • lol why the fuck is the singer wearing knee pads? Such theatrics too id be embarassed to be on stage with him.

  • im just glad my high school teacher was in to this type of music, he played it during home room, we were like who is that!!!

  • One of the best decisions i ever made was listening to this album!!! TREMENDOUS!!

  • what took you so long, man?

  • i didn't know who they were, and then i learned!!! :)

  • @derrick293

Couldn't agree more! The whole album was just simpley amazing.

  • He is singing the best song ever made, and doing it damn well, he's also the best singer live on stage ever

  • yes men!!!not everybody knows this band i dont know why

  • he use to be great, im a true Queensryche fan, and agree one of my favorite bands ever but age has caught up with him, he dont sound anything like he use to, but as they get older thats going to happen, with maybe the exception of bruce dickenson who sounds as good today as he did in the 80's

  • what the fuck is he doing

  • Their best song beside NM 156

  • Fucking genios!

  • Whoa, does anyone else think Geoff looks like Axl Rose in this video? especially at like 2:06. Anyway, Geoff Tate's so much better than Axl.

  • ¡Great band!

  • He has been married to the same woman , their current manager now I believe , he has also 2 children (maybe more). 1 is dating the new guitar player and the other sings a song on the American Soldier album..

    NO he's not gay......

  • true that they are way underrated

  • Brutal de bueno el directo. Impresionante Tate.

  • Queensryche's the best band ever made, and the most underrated...

  • that dude can sing

  • i love this band......

  • OMG I love the fucking Geoof tate dive off the back of the stage. In Jackson he did more of a swan dive and all I could say is I hope he didnt hurt himself.

  • Damn Michael is sexy! I love this band.

  • God, I wish I lives back then! Queensryche's the best band ever made, and Geoff Tate's easily the best singer ever on this planet of ours. Neither Dickinson nor Halford even come close...

    HAIL THE RYCHE!

  • It's not Only his voice, but his stage presence. He acknowledges the audience by playing out EVERY song they play. Unreal!!!!!!
