Revelations is extremely vague, and it's easy for any fool with even a half-assed understanding of the bible to take current events and apply them however they see fit and declare themselves a "prophet". Someone has predicted the end of the world every year for at least 200 years or more, and yet it just keeps on turning. This world will end one day, yes, but who knows when?
