If you are a real builder you would know that concrete has practically zero tensile strength, it's all compressive. The way these blocks are setup and how they hit them exploits this weakness. This is why they never try to break concrete when it is not spread across two struts like so, they would break their hand. It is not easy to break but still humanly possible if you hit it dead center in the right way when placed like so are trained to take the strain of impact.

@WitheringintheDark I really am a builder and the concrete used here is so soft it would wash away in the rain. Notice the way it crumbles? Go and try it yourself. Nip down to your builders merchant and buy a couple of paving flags and have a go! It's major league Bull Shit mate. Just as when a karate guy breaks pieces of wood down the grain. They never break it across the grain do they. But then if your happy being duped why should I care?

I know they always break wood down the grain, bc they'd break their hands going across the grain. They exploit the weaknesses of the material(in concrete's case, it's tensile strength, weaker and more easily broken no matter what it's quality is when stretched across two narrow points like that). It's all show and deception. They make it seem easy by exploiting perfectly the weaknesses of the materials they break, if they didn't, the results would not be.....pleasant, to say the least.

@WitheringintheDark Any one can break wood down it;s grain. I've done it myself. Why show off about it? (It's never a thick piece of wood) The concrete here is still shitty stuff! As I said last time go and buy a couple of paving flags/slabs (2,000 psi breaking strength) and try it for for your self. Proper concrete will have broken into two pieces, not crumble to dust. try it with a big hammer because you will break the bones in your hand if you try to copy this fraudulent feat!
