I take the same short cut near the end of the lap,but I do something else that has made an entire game of it,and I do it in both directions...also have you ever wanted to spin a car like they do in NASCAR when they win....I think I will put together a video showing many things to do in GT3 besides racing...it is great fun and only in gt3

Why have they removed the light from between the trees in GT4 and GT5? That was an awesome graphical idea that really made this track (and Deep Forest) really stand out. This could have been spectacular on GT5! *sigh*

I always hated Trial Mountain in all the GT games I played, the first one was especially a pain, because most of the licenses took place on that track...

The 3rd one they made a nice overhaul to it though, so I don't mind it too terribly much anymore.

@MakiD2010 Yeah, that's one thing they did well back in the early 2000 era of games, things like Metal Gear Solid 2, Gran Turismo 3 and other games still maintain a nice quality to them and the graphics remaining appealing even in this day and age.

No, it isn't apart of the actual soundtrack for any of the Gran Turismo games. However I felt it could easily have been added.

I noticed your speed is in mph on GT3 can you tell me how to change it? as mine is KPH and I do not use the metric system?

I'm not sure but I think it depends on what region your game copy is. Also, there might be something in the options menu which is accessible before or after a race or from the title menu screen. Otherwise, I'm not sure either.

@StoneMonkWisdom no, it's like you say, the region of the game is the one that determines the measure system (from GT1 to GT3). From GT4 onwards you can configure the units system for Power, Torque, Speed, Weight, etc.

Well, Youtube has for either two or three of these videos said something about copyrights and whatnot, but those were owned by Sony Music Entertainment so they simply block in some countries like Germany and slap an advertisement on your video and leave you alone basically. =)

The Rally courses were first try successes. The Raceway tracks take me a few tries sometimes given that I gotta figure out which car to use that's most effective and also remember how to drive in the first place. XP

I absolutely love some of these racing games. The main ones that have interested me over the years started with Mario Kart on the Super nintendo on. Then I found Gran Turismo series and then Midnight Club. All are very enjoyable.

Yes, I pulled out SOTC music, and I think it actually does kinda work with the racing of Gran turismo so if I do more of Gran Turismo 3, I think I might use a little more SOTC music.
