I don't think anyone can ever be too old to be going to school. Why do people automatically think that after the four years of college you have to stop? Some people like to learn. Personally I think it's a good idea to keep going to school. Sure...sometimes it sucks...but smart move.
When I was getting my masters at USC a professor overheard a comment of one of my friends about getting a second masters...his response was: "forget about getting more degrees and start working in your field. Your true knowledge will come from your experience, not by getting degree after degree"
It was his point of view for sure, but 10 years after hearing that comment I can tell you that it has a lot of truth.
I definitely know that experience is more valuable then a piece of paper saying you have a degree, but you can't really go from one extreme to the other with experience alone. I figure, I'll end up where I end up and move from there. Maybe I'll make my way from one end to the other over time.

It's annoying, but hey- the only people who say that are those who are jealous they weren't doing as well as you when they were your age.

thats a good idea - one of my friends is a painter, but she says finding work that actually pays at all is very very hard in the art industry, but having an academic backdrop such as ur business studies would help dramatically, and would help if you were to be self-employed also.
It looks like you already have experience in commercial photography, so perhaps commercial art/film/etc can help pay the bills while you do art for art's sake on the side.
I'm just curious. As far as I understood u are a waitress. So why do you still serving if you have 3 degrees? You not interesting in that fields any more? Or the aim of getting a degree was not a new better job? Or u just like to serve?
By the way. It was my favorite paradox in USA. U can work on a gas station or u can clean cadges in ZOO and get your 10 $ per hour and it's enough for normal life normal food normal apartment. And u don't have to get a job you don't like only because it's the only way you have.

I have met many many ppl out in my day to day and the intelligence is lacking (most of the time). On Youtube I have come across many more ppl that have at least basic intelligence. I'm just curious. As far as I understood u are a waitress. So why do you still serving if you have 3 degrees? You not interesting in that fields any more? Or the aim of getting a degree was not a new better job? Or u just like to serve?

By the way. It was my favorite paradox in USA. U can work on a gas station or u can clean cadges in ZOO and get your 10 $ per hour and it's enough for normal life normal food normal apartment. And u don't have to get a job you don't like only because it's the only way you have.
You cant even imagine how good it is...

Corie, never be ashamed of anything that makes you happy, whether it is work or play. As long as it makes you happy and it is at no one else's expense there is nothing to be embarrassed about. You look great for 24. Wow 800 emails... I get about 10 a day from the videos I have. Mine are all music videos. I play keyboards and write music. I am sure you can guess which one is my favorite. I miss home...

She is far from old and youtube is the best way to be heard in this world. Why be ashamed? I know more smart ppl on youtube then in the "real world".

Why is that so interesting to you? Are you simply trying to pick apart my sentence to insult me? If I need to explain it I will. I have met many many ppl out in my day to day and the intelligence is lacking (most of the time). On Youtube I have come across many more ppl that have at least basic intelligence. I was merly trying to compliment the ppl of youtube.
