you need to go back to school and re-educate yourself fool! architects area of work are based on looks. it is actualy civil/structural engineers who design the tower NOT architect. (im a major engineer student) so i know my sh*t.

secondly, go n calculate ur figures. because it takes more than 1 person to design the whole thing, it consists of hundreds of people. thirdly in the engineerinfg world, no ones gives a shi*t who designs it so long it meets the proposed requirements. fuck u bitch!

Without the architects, the engineers and construction crew would have nothing to work with. I agree with you (yoshirox8701). Architects are of high importance when designing any kind of building. By the way I am a Chemical Engineering student so I wont argue on the fact that who is better than who... but in any form of argument language is of high importance. So please respond in a kind manner to the people who have different thoughts than yours ( i.e woodchoopper111).

Anyways I like tall buildings and doesn't matter who contructs them. Enjoy guys!!

Mate you wouldn't notice the difference in Oxygen. Look at it like this ski resort are at least twice as high and you only notice the thinner air after running up some stairs or something, hehe everest is about 10 times as high and heck people have climed that with no oxygen... Plus I can't see anyone doing any sports up at the top!

the best time to visit dubai would be 2020 as dubai by then would be THE place to visit. however there are 4 more towers what will be bigger than this, so, for a few years the Burj Dubai will be the tallest for now!

There will be a taller building, but it also will be in Dubai, the Al Burj tower is expected to be 1050 (6725 feet) meters tall when completed, although construction has not yet begun.
