How do you get your magnets to stick good ? Mine don't stick good anymore. Do you take yours on and off ? I'm looking for a site that might just sell the magnets. I need a new one bad.
@waltabeast I had the same problem, in the end I actually ended up super glueing it to the plastic protection film on the front of my iPhone (remember I use the front facing camera to film this stuff). It sticks great but you need to be careful when you take it off that the magnetic pull doesnt lift the plastic coating (hold finger near base and tilt lens away from the center of the phone works best). I guess this same method would work fine on the back facing camera as well.
The fisheye on an iPhone doesn't give this good of effect. What did u really use? And if it is, how did u get it to look like that? It must have not been a iPhone 4.
@AllThatOtherJunk Haha! I assure you it is an iPhone 4. Its the 180 ' stocko fisheye lens with the sticky ring that is selling all over ebay and its mounted to the front camera (not the back one that films in HD). No magic tricks or details left out...

I'm picking one of these up for my evo. Since you were just standing there and not actually trailing the skater when filming, think you're better off using a wide angle lens there.
If you have a Jailbroken iPhone 4 you just have to mod som files to get rid of the crop. I did it because i wanted to get full effect from my fisheye...and now I get that :>
Google for "wide angle video mod iphone" and it should be the top result...
dude ive got an iphone 4 to. the problem your talking about with the HD camera being zoomed in or cropped isnt actually there. double tap the screen it zooms out to the actual view and even if you don't when you put it on your pc you'll see its normal.
@conal330 Actually, it does crop it. I have the same fisheye lens and double-tapping does zoom out a bit, but it's still cropped. You don't see the circularness of the fisheye and much of the effect is lost. This can be a good or bad thing. You can still see the distortion but only when you look at straight lines that are near you or stick it right up against something. At infinity focus it's more of a wide angle. Still useful though, and fun.

i know when taking video the camera's cropped abit to be in the widescreen (16:9) aspect ratio, but i was saying if you double tap the screen while in video mode you can see the actual aspect ratio that its recording at instead of the zoomed in screen view that you get when you first go into video. in my above comment i was saying it doesn't zoom in or crop the recording if you double tap the screen it just zooms in on the view.
I got this lens off ebay. There are a bunch of sellers (mostly from Hong Kong) that have them for like 20-30 bucks. The silver one with 180 ' and the magnetic keyring attachment is the one you are after. Haven't tried to attach it to the HD side of things yet. It does work but just is no where near as wide since the sensor appears to be cropped by the camera software.
its and iphone4/mk1 setup duh. he modded the bayo to fit on this

If you have a Jailbroken iPhone 4 you just have to mod som files to get rid of the crop. I did it because i wanted to get full effect from my fisheye...and now I get that :>
Google for "wide angle video mod iphone" and it should be the top result...

Guys, use the Camera Plus App in iPhone 4 to maximize the fisheye's effect. Tried it using the rear cam. :)
