does anybody need one? im selling mine. Send me an email and i will let you know the price. i will lower it if you say you saw this at youtube, im putting it on craigs list but ill help my fellow youtubers out. im sorry for soliciting lol. Sebastianmarproductions@yahoo.com
I got a TR-61 "repackaged" special, including EXB-SMPL sampling option, all for 750.00, including full warranty. A bitch to learn how to use, but now, thanks to sample option, I have Mellotron! Don't be fooled by the techno presets. This machine can be what you want it to be.
Damn thats a great price. I bought the TR-61 when it was first released and I paid $1300 for just the keyboard and $200 for the EXB-SMPL. Plus I maxed out the memory.
@PakomixVG are you in your senses? have you ever checked out korg pa800 .. thats 1000 times better than this thing.. coz it has a bass reflex box a woofer and tweeters.. and that can also play mp3 format and has a vocoder... theres a huge difference b/w these keyboards
I should not even answer your question because your annoying me with the question marks but, no there is no built in speakers. you need monitors or headphones.
Not fully true. You have obviously never heard a Yamaha PSR-S900, Korg Pa800, or Korg Pa588 in person then. Look them up and then tell me that those keyboards are not good. I have a Korg TR61, Roland Fantom-XR, and a Yamaha Motif-Rack XS but I still wish I had a Korg Pa800. I REALLY would love to own a Nord Stage EX Keyboard. They sound so nice.
why the fuck when he plays the piano the ambient sound of the place just fades out and then comes back in?? im thinkin that this its edited... anyway good sounds
nobody wants to hear a fucking techno sound on da gotdamn keyboard u will neva sell it playing dat gotdamned piano and shyt let us hear some horns and instruments gotdamnit
I have a TR61, for live use it's great, I love it. For studio or sequence use I'll use my KARMA which is in essence the Triton Classic with the Karma function added :>)
by the way, what exactly happened to the triton extreme? It's still available, what's wrong with it?! I'm looking out for a new keyboard, this is at the bottom of good ones i suppose, an extreme is much morer expensive. So is something about it not worth buying anymore? I don't want to make a stupid mistake..
Word is, the extreme is a discontinued product, so I guess whatever is out there is whatever is left. The extreme has features the TR doesn't--5 insert effects instead of 1, existing sampling capabilities (an expansion option on the TR). How about the keybeds? The 61/76 keyboard versions are different; 88-key versions are the same. Anyway, to me players seem to be making great music on the TR, equal to if not better than had they bought an extreme.
well obviously it's not like...an entry level keyboard. But then again it's not really AMAZING, but it's 'good' as far as most people would be concerned. By saying "bottom of the good ones" I was just making the point that this is still pretty decent despite how much further yo can go price and quality wise...do you get what I mean? O___o
exactly! but the whole idea of what it is and it's lower price puts it just slightly 'below' the rest. And I have played one and it's great. Youtube can be good for video demos but once people get to the point of complaining about sounds on it!!
disappeared because this keyboard ?????? even so still looking if possible take out the updated model but forever !!!!!!!!!! ....... TR

This is my keyboard. It's beautifully designed and sounds great. Korg should have designed their new ones along these lines.

I'm ingonart, but does the korg tr come with speakers or you must have an amplifator? I don't know because i'm guitarrist
kernelcoem 3 years ago
Unfortunately, it does not have built-in speakers.

It's not unfortunately, every profesional workstation needs amplificators

@PakomixVG I don't think so...Rudess and Tuomas would never play on live gigs with "toy keyboards"
This keyboard is AWESOME...
And the built-in speakers are very usefull in studio Rehearsal ;)

the golden rule of keyboards: if it has integrated speakers it is not a good keyboard.

tr has several sounds that are fatter than the fantom-g. fantom-g has more realistic sounds though.

I want a TR-88!
Actually I want a Roland Fantom-G8 but am too poor to afford one.
:-(
The TR should be a good keyboard though.

The korg tr sounds good. Shit. There's the korg
oasys and m3, the R.I.P. triton extreme, and other wonders from other companies. But for
a keyboard that sounds good, at a reasonable price,
can you go wrong with something like this? Yeah,
and there is the 88 key version now too.
pdautg 4 years ago
