this was very nice. Could one use a black and white print from a laser printer. Transfer the print to the metal using a hot iron, then electro plate to create the image?

i have heard of your method, but have not tried it. if you do, tell me how it worked for you.

you basically need something that can coat and stick to metal, that is an electrical insulator and that can be easily removed.

please watch my video on substitute for liver of sulphur as the method described over here is not really easy to use.
