@limva123, hello Wilbert. I can't remember what song Merci Bartolome rendered that made her an instant hit in Cagayan but it was a ballad I think in Cm. If you post her song or if you can give some title, I can surely recognize. Merci is a beautiful girl. She's got a pointed nose and very fine true Pinay complexion like Charice though Merci's voice is more haunting like that of Gospel singer. The tour was sponsored by Coca Cola and Fortune Tobacco. Efren and Merci sang the theme THE REAL THING.
The first break of Efren Montes was in Tuguegarao Cagayan with this song. I was a bass guitar who toured with him together with Mercy Bartolome. I don't know where he is now.

i sing this when i was young..now am 53y.o. i often watch Efren Montes in the movies my uncle owns a theater in the province those days and i really love to sing this..i was in the elementary grades so with Pauline Sevilla"s TING A LING A LING DING DONG.where is Efren Montes now?
