OMG! I remember this one. I did watch it on Jet X, and omg the boy who was raised by Digimon is my favorite. Even though he was a brat.

So what im saying is: Digimon will never be like the first 2 seasons anymore(unless they will decide to make a sequel or another season like adventure....)

And before you say this season sucks just by watching the opening, please watch the season first and judge it....

@oriran Umm, no. Take off your nostalgia glasses and rewatch season 2 again please. XD the dub of season 2 chopped up, cut out and butchered the second half of the season until it was an incomprehensible mess compared to the original, and what Disney did to Savers isn't much better. I'm not a weeaboo, I GENERALLY prefer watching dubs, but... No. If you REALLY want people to give this season a chance, you'll direct them to the sub. XD

Ok, let me set you all straight. Season 1-3 are the traditional digimon style. Season 4 and the 5th season are their own shows unconnected to the original, it just used the digimon characters, that's how these things should be viewed. IDK if you know about Xros wars, the 6th season, but you have to watch it with a grain of salt and it is amazing, despite the fact that there is no digivolving.

@KRDecadeXtreme i don't think they'll ever dub it. there has been no mention of digimon over here since after data squad. there also hasn't benn any new digimon games in the us for awhile and there are already xros wars games. i think america's done with digimon. unless disney is going to dub it again.

@00Raisor I read something on wikipedia about Xros Wars being dubbed into "Fusion Battles" but that info has since been taken down.

Disney is no longer in charge of such franchises ever since Saban re entered the scene. I believe he will bring Digimon back to the states. He's just getting his bearings again. It's been 10 years since he sold all his stuff.

@AngemonRulez I recall hearing the same thing, I had heard the Toei had filed for a patent for "DIgimon Fusion Battles" at the US patent office, haven't heard if they've gotten it or not, and Toei also has a page listed(in english) describing the plot to Xros Wars, however seeing how long its been, I am starting to have my doubts. It really stinks too, because Digimon was an absolutely amazing series. All seasons were interesting and worth watching in my opinion at the very least.

@Renning10 Well as long as Digimon is ongoing in Japan, whether they go on hiatuses every now and then or not, Saban will definitely bring it back to the states. He's been working on lots of stuff besides Power Rangers, so I've no doubt Digimon is one of them. I also heard rumors about Kamen Rider being a regular series here in the US like PR is.

Ugh, they might as well have just called this "Generic Anime #489" because it stopped being Digimon when Disney got their claws on it.

Digimon Savers was awesome and the dub just crapped all over it.

World Wrestling champ? Lame. The voices... Ugh, this is what happens when you let Naruto fans put in suggestions for voice actors. The theme music is rank and cheesy (although the old one wasn't that good either) and the censorship is absolutely retarded.

Digimon 02 - Entertaining but meh. USED to be the worst of the bunch...

Digimon Tamers - The darker and edgier atmosphere it had made it one of the best.

Digimon Frontier - Some say it sucks. I actually watched it to the end and it was awesome.

Digimon Savers/Data Squad: THE worst of the bunch thanks to a whole cast that goes from lame and emo to fucking RETARDED, the Power Rangers plotline and the total lack of the... "magic" the previous seasons had. FAIL.

Season's 1 and 2 were the best seasons of Digimon. If you ask me, Digimon is the best anime. Season 3 was alright, only seen about 10 episodes tho. Season 4 was just spastic. Human's turning into Digimon? No offence, but that's just weird. Season 5 was ok tho. Not as good as 1 and 2 tho.

Because Saban owned the old music, but seasons 4 and 5 weren't dubbed by them, as Disney had bought Saban's TV shows but not the music. So they couldn't use the old theme tune any more. For similar reasons, Frontier and Data Squad haven't even aired in the UK. :(

The lyrics are INCREDIBLY cheesy, but the music itself is outstanding, as is the BGM for the rest of the season, which is all based off this song. I have never seen the Japanese version so I can't really comment on that, but I do think that Thorsten Laewe did a fantastic job scoring the dub.
