Understand how Moses felt not receiving the true message of that sermon. I would love to see this pastor in person his voice is amazing he can preach his sermon thru a song I have noticed.. In his father alone clip I watch often that song can be transcribed in so many ways god bless u all.

Pastor E Dewey Smith was at my church yesterday morning Apostolic Church of God in Chicago and I must say ....He is a beast it is so real when you can appeal to the educated and non educated.....I love the ministry that was presented unto me yesterday! Praise God ...If i`m ever in Decatur I will be front row sunday morning @ Pastor E Dewey`s Church !

I really have to ask this; if anyone take the time to study history and see what Europeans did to the African during slavery especially in America, how can you in your right mind teach the Euro-Roman-Greco ideology of our slave masters that was used to enslave the mind of our African Forefathers?

History is as such that through the study thereof we should realize or be able to see God at work on behalf of His own. Problem is, too many of us are focusing on what men have done. Have not ALL men suffered at the hand of other men. Too many of us are still slaves forsaking the liberty that God through my Lord Jesus Christ has accomplished and instead embracing delusion of some other gospel.

@derekbaugh1 The scripture must be read in a manner that creates understanding. You should have read the previous verses perhaps starting in verse 14 and you would have gotten a clearer understanding of 2 Peter 2:18. Is it wise to read only one verse and erroneously divide the word of Truth?  2 Peter 2:18 is talking about those who come in the spirit of Balaam, the son of Bosor. Balaam was a prophet who did not seek to speak the words of God but to seek gain IN SPITE OF the word of God.

@derekbaugh1 What is it that has offended you in this video? If it can be sought out, let us seek it out. If it is a misunderstanding, let us seek to understand it. It there is error, we have the Holy Spirit of God to guide us unto all Truth. Emotion and human perception have no place in the matter because we, as men, are prone to error. Therefore we cannot lean to our own understanding but must use the Word to understand the Word.

@asheyblack I dig what you are saying. I still think that some people will take opportunity to speak ill of Brother Smith. What Brother Smith was doing was speaking to the human condition today and making a comparison with Moses in years past. 'Bring me some reefa' refers to our tendency to seek relief outside the power of God. We do it in many other ways. Reefa is just one. Some folk need to learn to appreciate the power of analogy. The bible says 'He who hath an ear, let him hear'

@wolverine90061 one cannot put a time on GOD'S word, any preacher that preaches according to time and not the word is fulling himself, and i don't think this preacher is one of them. There's nothing new under the sun, furthermore, what are "current events" war or rumors of war, homosexuality, having sex b4 marriage, lack of education, SIN........ get in the word, not BET OR MTV.
