@lowew79 Sometimes a player does something wrong. (Takes too much time to complete his action, argue about the rules with the DM, attempt to do something monumentally stupid, attack his fellow players because its "what his character would do", or otherwise soak up the fun like a ShamWow, etc).

When this happens, the DM uses the stick to correct the situation. If the stick doesn't work...use more stick.

These are the types of people that give us all a bad image for playing D&D. I love playing D&D and alot of other tabletop RPGs, but this is hardcore "living in mothers basement" kind of shit lol. We are all adults that play in our group. All of us have career jobs with wives. I'm the youngest of the group at 22. The oldest is 48. We just like to have a great time, drink our adult beverages, and get away for a weekend.
