I heard a Frank Zappa interview a couple of days ago and he said he had a woman called Alice Steward in the Mothers in the late 60's. Is this the same woman?
Saw Alice in Dec 10 in Olympia at a private solo performance OMG this lady is simply amazing. If you have seen her make it a point as soon as possible.

I took some classes from Alice....she's about 5'3" but a total giant when she picks up an axe to play!
