when DLH was in his prime weighing 135lbs, floyd mayweather hadnt even began his professional carrer and paquiao had just began and weighed around 110 lbs... yeah im sure dlh would have embarresed them two if he fought them then... thats not a legal argument you can say the same thing about all the over the hill fighters that oscar fought when he was in his prime

De La Hoya would never have "embarrassed" Pacquiao or Mayweather, even at his best. Both those men have had more successful careers than Oscar - and beat him in the process - and would rank above him on any respectable all-time P4P list. Early in his career, Oscar padded his record with smaller opponents (Paez, Molina, Leija, Chavez, etc.). As soon as he started competing against fighters his own size, he ceased to be a dominant champion.

DLH did in fact beat most of his opponents who were his size, not sure where you got that from.
In his prime, he only lost in a clear fashion to Sturm, Hopkins, and Floyd. And yes, I will always say that he was the CLEAR winner against Trinidad and Mosley 2.
Pacquiao never impressed me. Cherry picking fights, cathweights, and fighting fading champions.

Freddie Roach said that DLH is so occupied with his businesses that he is no longer a full time boxer. Add that with his old age and his dehydration and you have a shell of his former self. If Pacroids actually fought the DLH that BEAT Trinidad, BEAT Mosley (in the rematch), and beat the other roid head Vargas, then Pacroids would've probably been tko'd.
Besides, most analysts believe that Pacroids lost at LEAST one of his fights against JMM...even Floyd haters like Brian Kenny believes this!

OSCAR DE LA HOYA IS JUST A FLASHY PRIZE FIGHTER THAT COULDNT BEAT DAMN GOOD COMPETITION IN THEIR PRIME. Exept (Julio Cesar Chavez and Pernell Whitaker) but they were out of their primes. He mostly beat fighters that didnt have an age advantage.

I remember seeing this fight and thinking that Ruelas had a chance against De La Hoya. Alas, De La Hoya smoked him. Very one sided fight with a great difference in class. De La Hoya didn't even crack a sweat or perhaps even elevate his heart rate. He knew he was fighting a chump. Ruelas' brother was a better fighter I thought. Rafael was a bit of a wuss.
