  • 15 people like nicki minaj's poor version off this amazingly great song!!!!!

  • If gta 5 had vice city's atmosphere, san andreas' variety of stuff to do and gta 4's graphics and physics, that would be the best game ever. Anyone agree?

  • @eaglebeast20 Almost, but I prefer San Andreas' atmosphere. Maybe Vice City's music though. But that would be awesome. =)

  • Vice City is one of the best GTA's ever. If it had all the features in San Andreas, it would be the best. However, in forms of story and settings, gta vice city win.

The only thing that makes GTA intresting for me is the improved graphics and physics...

  • @ikaros332

Yeah and I just said the song is from the 70s not the 80s. I just think 70s should get credit too for its greatness.

  • I think it's cool how Nicki & Will.I.am remade this song but the Original will always prevail in my mind!! I Love the 80's! I wish I was born then O_e

  • @MizzYungMacMar

This song is from the 70s. And if I were you I'd wanna be born in 50s, 60s or 70s so you can actually enjoy the 80s properly.

  • @Gaznugget Yeah only thing is im black, I dont want to deal with the racism of early times that harshly lol But I definetly would want to be a teen in the 80's & be apart of the break-dancing scene.

  • @MizzYungMacMar

Oh I see. Unfortunetely racism still exists for some evil people, but I see what you mean, back then there was more of it. In that case maybe for you to be born in the late 60s would be best. By that time equality was starting for everyone. You definetely don't wanna miss the 70s and 80s.

  • @MizzYungMacMar Don't be so sure mate. Racism is just allot more subtle these days. I'm white so i can't see things from your perspective although society in general has gone downhill and I think the 80's were way better for a kid growing up...white or black. If you talk to black dudes in their 30's/40's/50's I'm sure they will agree with this even though racism was tollerated 'slightly' more. The 80's were not like the 60's mate.

  • @Gaznugget I disagree. I was born in 1980 and the soundtrack of GTA VC takes me back to a time where I was a kid and where life was allot simpler. It brings a kind of warmth to me. Everything got depressing from around 1993 onwards and I could detect that even at that age. This specific track is late 70's like you say though. If your referring to going out/clubbing to the 80's then ofc....you would of had to of been born in the 50's/60's to appreciate it.

  • @TheARMAProductions

You're bound to have memories of your childhood, but still I'd rather be an adult so I can enjoy the era properly not as a little kid. I disagree massively that life got depressing after 1993, I think you might feel that way subcounciously because of two factors; "depressing" grunge and the fact you were a teen and the golden days of childhood were over. Everyone feels that way usually. I'd hate to be born in 1980 though, 1950 would be fantastic though. I'm 1992.

  • @Gaznugget I kind of agree with the nostalgia element in all of this. It's just that everything seems to be more violent these days lol. There's one thing the 80's has over every other decade tho and it's the cartoons. It wasn't that there was a few better cartoons....there were literally dozens of them. many of them were based on the cold war (subconciously) though and due to political correctness...they stopped showing them in the 90's

  • @TheARMAProductions

My grandmother was born in 1950. She would tell me how pure and innocent the 50's were and how after the 60's everything changed. I think you might be looking at the 80's through rose tinted glasses because my grandparents don't see anything spectacular about the 80s or 90s. It's just nostalgia, it clouds all the bad elements and only shows the good, as a form of denial over the negative events. 80s cartoons is your opinion, I think 70s were better personally (Scooby Doo!).

  • @Gaznugget Your very correct here. It's as if society as got worse with each passing decade although what I said about the 80's cartoons still holds true. Picking one cartoon out of each decade...In the 50's...you had micky Mouse. In the 60's you had scooby doo. In the 70's you had battle of the planets. In the 80's you had Centurions. In the 90's you had Pokemon (lol). The cartoons of the 80's were all about robots, wars, lasers, fast cars etc and it was what kids wanted to watch.

  • @TheARMAProductions

For me, the 80s definitely wins for the music. I think it beats all others and the 70s comes a close second. But I prefer my cartoons and kids TV from the 90s. It's just nostalgia. Society does seem to get worse at time goes by, but that's because of a combination of factors such as technology, politics and economy. Not to mention our society depends on cheap unrenewable oil and peak oil and climate change are massive factors.

P.S. Does anyone ever mention before the 50s?

  • @Gaznugget Your the only 18 year old that's mentioned peak oil to me. Most 30 year olds don't even know what that is. Have you seen the collapse doc?

  • I am extremely interested in issues regarding oil depletion/peak oil, climate change/global warming, overpopluation, food security and the like in the environmental department. I believe it's the most important issue that exists today. If most 30 year olds don't know what peak oil is, then I'm not only angry and upset but it just reinforces the idea that the masses are thick. Yes I have seen Collapse. If you take a look at my favorites, you'll see many videos. I'm 19 next month by the way :)

  • @Gaznugget The masses are thick and it's because the ruling elite want this. This is why they print bs stories in the 'gutter press'.The only reason why I am aware of any of this is simply due to the net although we didn't really have this a decade ago. Dude...most people don't even know what money really is lol. Just ask your friends to explain money. Anyway..I'll send you a must watch doc. You'll find this very interesting. A whisltblower at his finest.

  • Then the ruling elite are pure evil. It's all propaganda and brainwashing with one main goal; money at the expence of the planet and its future. I've known this for years, as my grandmother (born 1945) is a massive environmental activist here where I live. She is truly the wisest person I know. And wisdom is much more important than intelligence. Any jerk can be a wealthy business man, but wisdom is so much more vital and important. And thanks I'll check your link now, thank you very much :)

  • @Gaznugget i'm totally agree with you, with all that propaganda and brainwashing the society is changing into worse, i've noticed that in friends, classmates and newer generations.I remember a good russian movie called Brat 2 (Brother 2) with an good quote.

  • @maxthunder1

Thank you for your comment. Yes my parents and grandparents (mother's side) are completely brainwashed by propaganda. I only know the truth because of my grandparents (father's side) and yes, society is getting worse and worse. My brother's generation (born 1999) shows no respect towards my aunt (born 1934) who is the kindest peron you'd ever meet. I blame the baby boomer generation (born 1946 to 1964) I was born in 1992 my fellow classmates are typical of society getting worse.

  • @Gaznugget todays youth shows no respect to old people, they don't have any discipline, you can see that they're brainwashed by MTV showing women acting like bit*es, think in money to be rich. It's pure hedonism. After seeing how the society changes I've left a lot of friends that listens garbage music and watch Big Brother and sh*t like that. It's clearly a decadence of the society. Many people think that i'm strange listening to old music and for liking old decades (old cars, old movies...)

  • @maxthunder1

Yes today's youth show no respect for adults, my younger brother is the perfect example. I watched a teen film last night called "Smooth Talk" from 1985 and even the teenagers of the 1980s had more respect for adults and the stuff they did that was considered bad is mild compared to teenagers now. Even though I respect adults, deep in my heart they upset me, because the 90s, 80s, 70s etc was just their world where they lived it up, consumed at the expense of the future generations

  • @Gaznugget continuation: but i think it's better to be different (to have your own identity) than belong to a crowd that doesn't know about history of the past decades (i love reading history books) and their only meaning to have fun is drug use and drinking alcohol (how sad), now younger generations pretend to be adults with all that media, media is very influential to young generations and it can change totally their behaviour, it's dangerous because they tend to imitate what they see on TV

  • @maxthunder1 continuation: I think the time of individual identity is over. There are just too many humans on the planet it doesn't matter. Society has been getting worse for decades. Society was better in the 1950s than the 1970s, the 1970s than the 1990s, the 1990s than the 2010s. But these past decades we all look back to with nostalgia were just decades of greed and they drove us to the way we are now. Soon Peak Oil and climate change will be a harsh reality in all our lives.

  • @Gaznugget Here's the quote: American, what's your power? Is it really money? My brother says it's money. You've got lots of money - so what? Truth is a real power. Whoever is right is strong. You cheated on a man and took away his money. Did it make you stronger? No, it did not. Cos you are not right. And the person you cheated on is. That means he's stronger. Right?

  • @maxthunder1

Thank you for that. But I have to say I don't understand any of it. Sorry.

  • @maxthunder1 Danila Bagrov eh??? брат (Brother) 2 one of my favorites.

  • @maxthunder1 It is impossible to beat truth even though how powerful you are. Materialism is a dangerous addiction.

  • @Gaznugget Did she like the 40 - 60 Music? such like the Ones from Fallout 3
