El Pollo Loco, a chain of 418 grilled-chicken restaurants concentrated in the Southwest, is trying to scare up a chicken fight with industry giant KFC.

Soon after KFC rolled out its first grilled-chicken offering on April 14 -- the biggest new-product launch in KFC's history -- Steve Carley, chief executive of El Pollo Loco, appeared in commercials challenging KFC to a taste test and set up an 800 number for KFC to call to arrange. Yum = Heath issues. The meat is very bad meat rates like dog food per many on google. I ate a Taco and bit a bone that cracked two teeth. When I reported it to TB, they went into lawyer mode and cared less about me. (7K bill). They refused to provide quality reports about their food! The ONLY thing that offers TB taste is all the color and crap they put to cover up the poor quaity of their food. Also, even their own video shows handling food and money at the same time
