Yes, you can easily start with that amount and achieve your financial goals over time. The amount you start with only affects the amount of time needed to build it to achieve your goals. The most important thing of course, is to prove to yourself that you really know how to trade and any accounts you trade with in the meantime should be considered tuition payment for the learning process.

I have been trading for a good one year now and I cant stress the importance of fibonacci numbers. And they work for all time frames, I usually trade the 30 min time frame with fib and they are very useful.

Excellent information and advice. There are SOOO many websites / seminars / training courses out there that it is actually difficult to find good information without spending a lot of money. It seems like every search you do results in 100 to 1 ratio of sites trying to get you to buy something vs sites providing free information to get you started...

I learnt the hard way. I then switched to Forex Capital Markets after I learned to used stop losses appropriately for capital preservation.I am now far more cautious.I have learnt that rule #1 is always capital preservation.I have been trading for 7 months My biggest month was a 148% return.If you find forex intimidating, start with apractice account so you can mess up with monopoly money. It's a great strategy!
