I would hardly call this boring.Their technique was far superior to the Duchenays...Isabelles' at least.Paul had great technique but Sergei presented Marina far better.

Sergei and Marina didn't have any skid.Besides: were it not for Christopher Dean,they wouldn't have had a world medal or a Silver medal in the 1992 Olympics.Watch K & P's 1992 free dance in Albertville. It was not boring. Very innovative and creative. They deserved the Olympic Gold.K&P changed with the times as well.

@libralady1010 That's one good thing about the Duchesnays (and Usova & Zhulin). The competitiveness pushed Klimova & Ponomarenko to venture out to try new choreography and dance routines, and that push may have resulted in the most romantic and exquisite Free Dance at the 1992 Olympics.

Of course it was good, but... after what the duchesneys have done they were just boring and old fashioned

I love this! They won and rightfully so. Sergei is probably the best male ice dancer in the World next to Christopher Dean...I was happy to see a little bit of different themes w/Paul and Isabelle Duchesnay and happy for them but in the end the right team won here and in 1992 @ the Olympics
