  • I would hardly call this boring.Their technique was far superior to the Duchenays...Isabelles' at least.Paul had great technique but Sergei presented Marina far better.

Sergei and Marina didn't have any skid.Besides: were it not for Christopher Dean, they wouldn't have had a world medal or a Silver medal in the 1992 Olympics.Watch K & P's 1992 free dance in Albertville. It was not boring. Very innovative and creative. They deserved the Olympic Gold.K&P changed with the times as well.

  • @libralady1010 That's one good thing about the Duchesnays (and Usova & Zhulin). The competitiveness pushed Klimova & Ponomarenko to venture out to try new choreography and dance routines, and that push may have resulted in the most romantic and exquisite Free Dance at the 1992 Olympics.

  • Of course it was good, but... after what the duchesneys have done they were just boring and old fashioned

  • I love this! They won and rightfully so. Sergei is probably the best male ice dancer in the World next to Christopher Dean...I was happy to see a little bit of different themes w/Paul and Isabelle Duchesnay and happy for them but in the end the right team won here and in 1992 @ the Olympics
