  • you dont ned the dae four be the star,.. the super star off all still alive =)

  • This ain't the one on my cd ?!

  • Why is he partying with people who are his kids' age? HAhahha!

  • I've got that Police t-shirt.

Wow what a start to the day.

  • He's still wearing the Police T-Shirt:D

  • WOW!? not the studio version, what is this

  • This song has been ruined! Where is the album version i was looking for!?

  • The only thing that scares me is that I'm listening to a music my mum know and sings all the time she pass through my room :D

  • Beautiful song, HORRIBLE video!!! Such a waist of time, seeing it... WTH happenned to my beloved Sting???

  • someone please tell me how I can download this version ... Thanks!

  • people love this song in my country

  • IRL, a band which such gorgeous and produced girls could only sound like shit. IRL.

  • 0:15 mj

  • Can anybody tell me, on what album this version is on?

  • @DonDorni85 ... it's on "Brand New Day":

  • Remember folks, Sting makes the music, not the music videos.

  • The song is gold..... but wtf with the video. its shots of sting then a bunch of scantily clad ugly girls... sting.... ugly girls.

if it were sting dancing with some good looking girls i could've stomached it but wtf.. no correlation watsoever. horrible direction

  • I like this much more than the original video. Great arrangment! )))

  • Seguro que algunos amigos mios y yo hubieramos hecho lo mismo....arrancar la puerta de guajo....de donde las sacan tan lindas...

  • Really disappointing uncreative video from STING!.. Seriously are there no videos without sex provocation anymore? Where did art and inspiration go!

  • Sting plays really good slap bass? Methinks not.

  • like this version

  • That video sucks but the song is great.

  • I loved the original version + original video more than this. I can say the same for "Stolen Car".

  • I have said this before, but i believe the presence of the women in this video is meant to be a parody of video's overrun with "babes".

  • I love Sting, but this video doesn't really do this song justice. I DO like seeing an all-female band though. But how the hell do you play keyboards effectively with nails 2 inches long? Ridiculous. The original video is better, I think. This one seems like someone is trying to make Sting seem cool to the tattooed generation.

  • this version is way better than the album version men!

  • This is the real Sting. Always pushing the envelope, always doing what we don't expect. This man was born to sing & I think his ideas for videos continue to break the molds that everyone things is normal. Rock on Bro. ~sjhgm1~

  • Album version is better... no?

  • It ain't about the pictures; it's about the music...and he has that nailed!

  • every body has to leave the darkness sometime!

  • This is the kind of video Britney Spears or a hip-hop singer would be part of.

  • Yeah, ok, the video is kinda like every other video of this type out there, but every other babe-fest video does not have that big blonde doorwoman in it. Rawwwrrr!

  • I love Sting. I also love smokin hot bitches. This video is awesome! Haters!!

  • i think i understand what is ses (im not shure):

real love can be reaplased by sex (and drugs, dander, the life of crime). just say it if you think that im totally rong but this is what i think the song means

  • Love his t-shirt!!! but other then that, the video is lame I think...

  • this new version is interesting but very paradoxal knowing Sting. I see a lot of irony about modern world and faith in better things. Interesting version for many reasons!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Yeah Sting has a the Police t-shirt, ha ha ha awesome guy, definitely) :)

  • different version of the song and a different video. coulda sworn the original was him in a box surrounded by ropes of poles of something

  • nie nie to nie takie fajne

  • Hmmmm. I've heard this song many times on casette and it must have been another version, orchestrated alternatively and with a bigger chorus. I wonder if that version is up here somewhere.

  • Um dos melhores vídeos que eu já assisti ! Sting detona!

  • This video is horrifuckus

  • the original video is the shit... this video blows...

  • かっこいー

    He is Cool.

  • good song, horrible video

  • only 3 things i like in this video: the music, sting and the police tshirt. all those other chicks are not needed

  • god i fucking hate vevo

  • Sting is the best!

  • I love this song and the video was not what i was expecting. That said I love the video too. Sting is the thief - the piper if you will. Sting is the only man other than Brad Pitt who could pull being in a room full of beautiful women and still be the sexiest thing in the room.

  • @QueenMKB1 for sure!!!!!

  • @QueenMKB1 : Brad Pitt. No. Javier Bardem. Hell, yes.

  • Sting in the paradise!

  • i love this is music!! sting hu huuuu

  • ha i like the look at the end^^

  • Don't care for this version musically. A great song ruined by stupid hip-hop, dance club remix bullshit.

  • Was that Alicia Keys on keys? If so, who are the other musicians?

  • @ LukaArsenalSerbia Sting was in the police =/

  • I love sting! oh, & the police rock! :)

  • Comment removed

  • love the song, the video not so much......

  • Or maybe sting is just a stone cold pimp :)

  • Wooowa.. that bass line is talkin' the language of vibe!

  • Sting selling out to Gen X....Weak!

  • when was made this vid, because Sting has THE POLICE t shirt......

  • Prefer the original version from the CD. So much more beautiful and mysterious...

  • this video is actually so cool, why?

because it actually shows the sleaziness of today's party's/MTV clips and push that sleaziness out of the way because of the happiness of this song.

i thought he was cynical, but he ain't, he's just sophisticated.

  • amazing bass guitarist and singer, cool songwriting

  • Can't believe I've never heard this one before! And I agree, great bass line! :D

  • great bass line:)

  • the song is 10 years old, isn't the video as well?

  • nice ....

  • I´m afraid I have to agree completely with Silvia 1826. I like Sting very much but he seems to me a little superficial in his videos last years. Pitty...

  • Sting has a Police t-shirt!

  • @LukaArsenalSerbia the guy knows where he is from :)

  • I would have prefered to see Sting singing about an actual thief entering a castle and finding a princess instead of another mindless MTV sex video. Sting's music still rocks, but not to these tasteless images. What happened to the imagination he used to put in his vids?

  • haha, i know. i just ignore the vid. to me i just consider it a paraody to deal, haha. but i love the colors and way its filmed. if it was just t focused on him more, his passion and beautiful scenery/filming, then it'd be perfect :)

  • @eclecticbgirl I agree - I see this song as a parody of the classical 'babes in a music video' style of video.

  • @Silvia1826 - I had the same idea - of him kidnapping a "willing" princess...kind of romantic like Viggo Mortensen (my all time fav) and the beautiful princess in Hildago....I'll just keep that fantasy alive in my dreams.

  • @PastoralSymphony , that would had been perfect! Sting singing this great song, and watching Viggo Mortensen.......hmmm yeah!

  • @Silvia1826 It probably has something to do with it being the dance remix of the song, instead of the original. The original was by FAR the better version.

  • @Silvia1826 You are so right Silvia. This was made when that club hoochie, good-timing, writhing bodies shit all started, pre-millenium mess...

  • @Silvia1826 That video would have been great! I always used to imagine the story as a tale from Arabian Nights. Now I'm disappointed...

  • @zimnomel

    Same here. :(

  • @Silvia1826 this isnt the orignal video :)

  • @bluesplayer86

Oh I know. He was trapped in a small space in the original, wasn't he?

  • @Silvia1826 yeah i like that one alot better :)

  • @Silvia1826 Well I agree... I guess he was a bit stress up about his age and decided to show a young stupid image of himself... more than mid life crisis?!

  • @Sol00o We can only guess at what kind of hold his record company has on him to find a way to appeal to a younger audience?

  • @riversidetopgog I think that at that stage he probably doesn t have to prove anything to anyone, especially not to his record company... I guess he wanted the vid that way... and that s a pity because this song is great, the video spoils it.

  • @Sol00o

    Lol.

  • @Silvia1826 I call it middle age crisis.

  • @Silvia1826 no truer words were spoken

  • @Silvia1826

Agree. I think he thinks this is a way of staying relevant. Personally I don't think he needs to. He's Sting. He'll always be relevant, though his relevance has in my opinion been connected to his creativity. If he makes more like this though, maybe he won't always be relevant.

Also, I prefer the version on the album to this.

  • awesome
