  • So after painting the guitar, did you sand it to get the relic look and then put a clear coat on after that?

  • @levonvoth some was done before and some after...if you will go to my channel there is a video of the painting of this guitar...

  • I've seen a thousand videos and discussion boards saying the tuners suck, but the stock tuners on mine hold tune better than any of the after market tuners I've put on other guitars, I've never even considered replacing them.

  • @SuperCharlieJohnson hey, i never really said the tuners suck...they just don't seem to operate a smooth as what i'm used to....i guess what i should have said was that keeping the guitar in tune is not as much of a problem as the fact that, if a string is a little sharp or flat the stock tuners are a little touchy for my taste and its a little harder to stop on correct pitch...if your tuners work fine i don't blame you a bit, i wouldn't change them either....

  • Pearl Jam! Is this a good guitar to play like Yngwie Malmsteen and stuff, a friend sells me that exact guitar you have there for 70 bucks...

  • @Macsk8ing I would say that anyone good enough to play like Yngwie could do it on pretty much any guitar they wanted....but, these guitars are styled after the fender stratocaster and that is Yngwies guitar of choice,if that's what you are asking......

  • I am currently restoring one for me to keep and I just got into guitars. The upside it that i can figure mechanical things out very easy because im'a go into construction. I was just wondering if i can get a layout on the internal parts so I know if guitar is alright on the inside. If anyone can help that would be grand but I am exited aboyt this guitar. And thanks for the vid.

  • @Khabibulin3935 hey,you can go to fenders website,or the seymour duncan website and pull up a wiring diagram for pretty much any pickup configuration....

  • Nice relic I have a "relic'd" predator I call the Rat o Caster. I found If you Wax pot the pickups and replace the pots..Its a Beast on stage. I put GFS pups in then went back to the stock Peavey pups soaked in paraffin for 20mins.

  • @sliversurfer1 hey man,sounds cool !!!!

  • Rad. I'm workin' on my predator as well.

  • @radicalnow thanks!!!! good luck with your predator....they're great guitars.....

  • been watching your videos for a while now. Love your work. Keep it up!

  • @jackdragbean hey, thanks for the comment.....hope to do some more guitars as money allows.....

  • what part man? maybe we could jam sometime

  • I think that's the nicest guitar that you have done, although they are all great. It has just the right amount of relicing, it's not too over-the-top like others I have seen. Keep up the great work, I look forward to your next video.

  • @FullBlownRedneck thanks for your comments.....i apprecite you watching......i hope to do some more in the future......
