  • I want more!

  • Really Amazing!!! Orit performs great Egytpian style! Fantastic oud and violin great taqsim!

  • very classy and with a taste. Sometimes I get tired of modern bellydance. Orit is a perfect example of old school. I liked it.

  • Every dancer has her own style and technique as far as a dancer she is fun to watch as far as the best when it comes to executing moves the queen would be Sadie no one can compare and to think Sadie is not even Arab which goes to show you belly dancing is an art form and those who dedicate themselves like in any other field can become the best and if you watch sadie you can see the dedication she shows the art as it should never showy or sexual.

  • what's the name of this song pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee???

  • Layla

  • @saamiya817

Noura. It's one of Al Atrache's most popular for bellydance, along with Zeina and Gamil Gamal.

  • even her style is oriental, she is unique!!! i love her feeling!!!

  • Bellydance moves are not exclusive to one dancer or another. So comaring her to Randa and Dina is not fair. Orit gives soul to bellydance. Unlike Randa and Dina, her personality elevates her dance to serve the mind rather than just serving emotions and sexuality. She's a role model in bellydance. I raed that one instructor uses her vids to demonstrate personality and warmth in bellydacing. very smart move.

  • I agree with the " unique" part 100%. You are right Nura. I just like her personality better. I think that makes her unique. I also think bellydance should be perceived in a different light. It shouldn't be about seduction and sexuality. It should rather be an expression of joy and talent.

  • It's called "Layla" - one of Farid's dance instrumentals. It is widely available.

  • she moves me!! that's whats dance is all about!! bellissima!!

  • what a fantastic dance!!! please do no t remove it EVER.

i did not know this music was by farid al atrache, i love it.. can you say what the song is called, or where it is on (whcih cd..)? thanks!!

  • Yummy!

  • Her hips are a bit lazy in this number, maybe before the show she finished eating ten pieces of kababs and the muscles became a little numb.

  • Like butter... BEAUTIFUL!

  • es hermosa la musica!orit una reina como siempre!

  • Wow! This is just a perfect example of takasim.

Her dance interpretations of the oud solo, and then later the violin's, was just amazing.

It is so hard to get takasim right - it is so subtle and delicate, but also requires a great deal of muscle control and musicality, which is why I believe it is becoming a lost art.

I will be sending my students to this clip to show them how it's done! :)

  • This is gorgeous - its like the music is just flowing through her. I didn't want it to end. Her costume is beautifull as well.

  • Orit is simply divine!
