You might think your video is boring, but believe me, you are showing people all over the world what its like to be somewhere they'll never see. Its a window to another part of the world, and our guide is an english speaking resident. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming !! What seems every-day or mundane to you, is fascinating to us.
Does he say gozaimasu(sp?) before he eats? I'm learning japanese and I thought that was just like.... put at the end of greetings and stuff to be polite.... is it also polite by itself?
my dad sings that song at me all the time because i love japan and i would love to move there. can you tell me what you had to do to get your teaching job?
I really like japan for many reasons but i don't really know how to speak japanese correctly. Did you know before you moved to Japan or after?Or did you always lived in Japan?
luckily ive bought a few books and arranged for japanese lessons at January and considering my age i have a fair amount of time (15) ^^ so i just hope that i could become as lucky as Mr. Ericsurf
dang. I see japanese writing and i wonder wut it says. it's confusibng. it's not like spanish or french where can pretend you know how to resd it. it gives me headaches.
last part was fking racist... but the riceballz looks good.. so compatibale, light (like u said), not 2 big not 2 small, and rice make you full easy but that was lil rice so its all good
This is nice video i need your help with alot of things im really interested in japan and i only know so much japaneese but what i really wanna learn is more about the country then i'll studdy The langauge some more
34 is it nice there i have either thought of movie there or scotland because i have so manny relitives there my famley has a town and a castle named after my last name-hunter- where should i go
looks like a nice place to live. What do you teach in the university? how did you learn Japanese? did you know it already when you went over there, or did you learn it once you got there?
I teach English Writing and Speaking. As far as learning Japanese, I did take some classes in the beginning, but I mostly learned just by living here and using Japanese daily.
I speak fairly fluent Japanese now, but when I started here I spoke very little. One can get by here speaking little Japanese, but the more you know the better.
I'm jealous that your Japan experience is so close to the beach (Shounan?). The year I was in Japan I was stuck in Shinagawa, then Kawasaki. But Kanagawa on the other hand always appealed to me.
Fantastic video response... Heck awesome vid regardless... Even if I squint you don't look Japanese to me yet... Thanks for the contribution... I have to download yet... Working graveyards so I'll be a day or two.. Depending how much material comes in during the next few days... That spot looked tsunami proof... Any earth quakes since you bean there?
In the beginning, I posted videos and then never went on YouTube. It took me forever to get to 100 subs. Now I'm spending a lot more time on Youtube, making a video a week, and just this month alone I picked up another 100 subs. Success on YouTube is a mix of time, effort, talent, and luck. How long have you been tubing Sam?
like your video. and it told me one importent thing. hills are hard to ride on!!!!.just jokeing.i am going to japan in october. for shikoku ohenro tour. i got a 9 speed folder bike and i wonder if its even good for the hills there.
I got a buddy that's big into mountain biking down in Shikoku. He tells me there's lots of good riding there. Not sure about a 9 speed folder bike though...never ridden one of those. Makes sense though for transporting around.
pretty cool. You've been living there for 10 years, are you a japanese yet? It is just that I know how hard it is to get a citizenship in Japan. And even if you've been living in Japan for quite a period and have a work permit and job, and even if you are married to a japanese girl!!! LoL... you still can have problems becoming a citizen... They don't except a double citizenship too, right? Sounds a bit crazy and almost impossible.
I'm not interested in getting citizenship here, but I do hold a permanent visa. Also, contrary to popular belief dual citizenship is possible. My wife and two sons have both US and Japanese passports.
lol..I think im turning japanese..lol..man your a great guy, once again I thank you for showing us these videos for the ones interested in knowing how it is in different countries, and I appreciate the comment on my video and for not judging me by my looks or music thank you! You Rock!
You don't need a visa to get a place to live, just money. But you need a visa to work. I started on a student visa, then a spouse visa, and now I hold a permanent visa. Company's also sponsor visas if you land a job here.
Just wow, that is amazing. So cool, in 2009 If I can earn enough to go my Japanese class are going to Japan, we weren't told of where more than likely Tokyo. Where you live looks truly amazing, so beautiful. How long have you lived there? =0 Oh and also what do you teach?? Speak soon, *clicks part two*
I love those rice things!!!!! I'm not as much of a fan of the ones with chicken inside, but they're still good. I remember the first time I had one it took me like 5 minutes to figure out how to open it......
No snow! Looks pretty. It took me about a year to realize that there was a proper way to open those things. One day I was staring at an onigiri and all of a sudden I saw some numbers on the packet...
