I was 12, and loved the Beatles, Monkees, Herman's Hermits, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Chad and Jeremy, Peter & Gordon, Gerry & the Pacemakers, DC 5, but Beatles and Monkees were #1 & #2 in my heart. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. It's a delight to see it again, and fall in love with them all over again.

Not well received by audiences? Bollocks. I saw it on its first TV airing and thought it was great. But then, I have half a brain and then some.  The main character was Buster, played by Ivor Cutler who was a wacky eccentric Scotsman but very funny. MMT was tailor made for Blue Jay Way and I Am The Walrus. I still have the original double EP. Great stuff.
