At the end , guy is being polite and says thank you. And then you anwser him thank *you*(saying you a bit louder) and also stepping back at the same time ( not standing behind your words). So you are not really saying thank you, ur saying thank me.
not bad. id say he wanted to leave to situation tho since his right leg was pointed back toward the audience [ he was in d audience yes?]. and that he was a countryman since he kept a fair distance away from u and didnt let u enter his space at all when he used the handshake. also i think hes a brave guy or oblivious for that matter cuz ur the person of power in that situation and he used the power handshake on u turning ur palm up and keeping his one down
