No way! I rather those home-made, and pottencially harmful, bottle rockets. It spoils all the thrill of seeing if it's going to blast-off or burst on your face.
I don't know if the rocket goes 1000 ft., but the screams of those kids can be heard far more than 1000 ft away. Ear-shattering.

lol it doesnt really go 1,000 feet i hade one at the science fair, we were launching it into the seats, maby 200 feet maby, but not 1,000 feet.lol
