  • Do I regret watching this? Hell yes I do.. wtf this hurt my soul just by even watching this

  • Is it possible for this to be done under a sedative vs normal local antithetic? I'm kinda a wimp when it comes to dental work and this looks kind of extreme.

  • ugh what kind of horsepills must they give you to cope with the pain after this

  • How reliable is the all zirc implants? Will the body still entergrate w/ it?

  • EWW. I'm not going to do this!

  • Whew... THAT is what is going to happen to me in a few months. I guess I shouldn't have watched it...lol

  • love it..........I want to be a doctor one day and carry out such amazing surgeries.

  • Good vid, shows a lot of skill.

Can this producedure be used for molars?

Is this part of standard dentistry skills, or specialist only?

What is the average time from consulation to final fitting?

  • @carpii yes, you can have any type of teeth in your mouth with this system. in general, it is done by specialists. after this surgery the patient had a definitive crown placed after 4 months. thank you for your comments!

  • @ceraroot thanks for the info :-)

  • ty for video

  • the comment under me is not spam

  • AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH IM OUT!!

  • I'm thirteen, and although every surgery video makes me want to puke, dental videos like this are amazing to watch and don't gross me out at all. Maybe I was meant to be a dentist. Funny, that.

  • I don't like the drilling part ouch

  • was he awake the whole time!

  • Thank You @ceraroot

  • why is it screwed?

  • @jungiejg it is necessary to make it stable and to achieve a proper healing.

  • Remember kids, brush your teeth.

  • i want to be a dentist but no a dentist for surgery =/

  • @harrypotterfun1 don't worry you will be a surgeon if you're a dentist, dentists are surgeons in fact

  • To me, that wasn't painful to watch at all. Possibly my twisted senses.

  • hm dentists r great!!!

  • well i,am having hardcore work done,'an the screws going in,roots/teeth being pulled,no pain. It's afterwards,on the way home, where,i whimper in agony.

HOWEVER,i dunno what the hell this dude dentist is doing.

Done properly, when a screw is put in,then one waits, in my case 4 months,3 minimum, that is to give the screw(s) and jawbone time to bond,as one basically.

  • oh my god, it hurts to watch! i can just see myself crying the whole time haha!

  • is it me or is is creepy how this painful bloody experience has such beautiful music soft piano. Its like Hannibal Lector doing something crazy and listening to Opera

  • watching this gives me great respect for dentists..

  • This is why ppl dont go to the dentist

  • this was painful to watch

  • @classicjuice It's painful to watch if you don't know what is going on. I am a 7 year experienced Dental Surgical Assistant; we do these all day long. The issue for most people watching it is the placement of the implant. My question to the Doctor in the video is, what kind of implant did you use? I have never seen one of that material, we use Zimmer Dental implants, which I believe are titanium if I am not mistaken.

  • pink silicone for gingival masking

  • Im going show my kids this video. This will scare them straight to the bathroom!

  • i see myself doing this in 10 years

  • I'm so glad i've looked after my teeth. I couldn't bare having this done.

  • Wow that thing goes in SO DEEP INTO THE BONE! I'm considering becoming a dentist. I'm really liking the mix between construction, crafting and health. I always liked creating stuff with legos as a child, and making crafts with clay and stuff, and always loved when we studied the human body in science class. Dentistry is for me ... right?

  • uhh.. wat about the pain how was that avoided..

  • i will do it in UK not Vietnam!! 5 teeth

  • omg thats brutal!

  • gr8 guide to learn implants!!!

  • gr8 work dude .......thnx for posting.......

  • good lord ...

I could never be a dentist. This looks like a horror movie for me.

Outstanding job on the tooth though. No wonder dentists cost so much ...

  • @netszk that was only the temporary crown. Once the implant is firmer in the bone, they'll put on the permanent crown which will look just like a perfect real one that they'll be able to bite on just like normal!

  • are the implants permanent?

  • OMG!!!

  • unbelivable..its soo cool....

  • man. it is amazing how we learn to do this type of stuff. can you imagine what the first people had to deal with when these procedures were still new and we were still learning. I mean I know we are still learning now, but it is still amazing how far we've come.

  • CooL

  • Just had one done, A1 job dont care how much it costs i would NEVER have dentures the temporary one i had to endure for 6months was bloody awful, i recommend implants to anyone 10/10

  • Man....I really need a whole mouth full of those

Just wish I had that kind of money

Oh well that's life I guess

  • oh man i have to do the same thing soon and plus a jaw alignment dam am so nervous about that thing

  • i have the EXACT same procedure in three days only it is the right lateral incisor...man that extraction was insane i never knew the hole was that big! well its worth it with the permanent implant and all

  • did it hurt?

  • the extraction didn't hurt at all. but when they he started drilling ugh! yeah that was very uncomfortable...i was on local anesthetic so he constantly had to inject the deeper he went...but bearable :)

  • Do'se anybody know what the procedure is called when you graft hip bone to the maxilla due to peridontal disease to give anchorage for implants.

  • name of song please

  • kiss from a rose by seal

  • @dantet13 kiss from a rose (seal)

  • @dantet13 it's a piano instrumental of 'Kissed by a Rose'

  • im a dentistry student..but i dont know if i could also do this kind of surgery soon. oh God...im still afraid of this. how can i overcome this?

  • heh, and I thought I was alone. ;)

  • goodluck for us future dentists!

  • hello i'm a 15 year old boy who just started to care about his teeth there rather yellow nothing like the teeth show in this video, is there anything you would recomend to get them white other than cleaning twice a day??

  • im going to major in dentistry for college ^.^ i really want to be a denstist :D

  • yeah, me too, pretty awsome that we get to do these kinds of operation in the future ourselves. :D

  • lol major in dentistry in college lol

you do realize you learn dentistry in dental school (a 4 year doctoral program, which is usually followed by a residency if one choose to do so) following 4 years of undergrad?

  • It doesn't :) The hole is done to the skull, where it doesn't hurt. Most likely the patient will only have a small inflammation for 2-3 days near the area of meat caused by the "injury". The actual pain "exists" while making the hole and placing the implant. Nice video!

  • great video..kiss from a rose by seal

  • so great

  • how much that cost?

  • starting at 1200$ per implant, then you will need a crown, which will prolly cost around same amout of money.

  • The gums r red at the bottom of the tooth extracted D:

  • i know this song!

    kiss from a rose!

  • I think I am going to get this done to one of my back teeth. I have a temp cap that has been there for some years now and it was never finished now the cap is giving me problems and it is really bothering me. I'm going to get them whole tooth and cap removed and then get an implant.

  • HOW COME I DON'T HERE SCREAMING LOL

  • whats with the music??????????

  • @fxw3 kiss from a rose (seal)

  • @ceraroot yes we know but who is playing it on the piano.

  • i've not seen zirconian implants in the literature. how long has it been around? i think ceramic types have been used in other parts of the body. Ti is the only material i know to be used in jaw bone. are you a board certified O.S. in the US?

  • kinda grossed me out when he pulled out the ooth..lol..but the video wuz amazing..

  • thats crazy amazing!

  • super clean job so nice

  • the name of the song is kiss from a rose by seal!

  • thanks men

  • what is the name of the song???

  • kiss of the rose!

  • the music is really annoying.

  • amazing!

  • Very interesting, I must say.

    .

What city was this procedure done, please?

    Cheers.

    from,

    del-boy.

  • ikea xD

  • can you also fix those micro fracture in the tooth too?

  • the way he made the temporary tooth wans't proffesional and it'll take alot of time, instead there is a whole kit that comes with all teeth shapes and sizes u just fill it with composite and put it on

  • that`s amazing! Thank you a lot for posting!

  • Great video, but I would have loved to see the final result

  • mk ben de yaptırdım gitti tonla para, ama ağrı falan olmuyor rahat olun.

  • 0o0o

  • i always wondered why a couple of my buddies have a brown line above their tooth?

  • you are either looking at the brown color of non vital root (which turns dark with years)or you see the metal of the crown. Metal free solutions in the front area should be a requirement.

  • @ceraroot Hi! Where are you located?

  • woow darth teeth

  • i got some question if anyone can answer me please. i got my the 4th tooth on the top its broken only the roote is inside im thinkin of gettin an implant done but do they have to remove the roote all of it cause ive seen some videos they just remove a pice of it like half of it the pallet oote and then they put the implant . how long does it take for an implant to get done ive heard it can be done for 6 months is it true ? and how painfull is it ?

  • you will neede to remove th ewhole root

  • is it painfull when they dig the hole cause it looks crazy

  • not at all

  • what about when they pull the toth out does it hurt ive never gotten any toth removed before

  • no.we dentists use atraumatic extraction. how old are u

  • whats atraumatic extraction ? im 23 years old

  • to extract the tooth simply without fracture or bone removal

  • Heloo! I am From Brazil!!

    Very nice work!!

  • do general dentists do this? or do you have to specialize?

  • Remember Kids, Always take care of your teeth.

  • nice work

  • What type of materil was used for the implant? It is not your average 94% Zr 4% Yt, right? It is some new hybrid ZrO2 with Al oxide added, correct? The common ZrO2 used in dentistry has around 1200Mpa and I believe I read that your material was near, or over 2000MPa. Any tests with staining the material so it's not snow white? Is this milled from a pre-sintered piece, or milled from a hardened sintered material, or isostatically pressed into this shape and not milled at all?

    Thanks

  • Wow, I'm impressed of your knopwledge on this field!!!

Your questions are similar as asking the chemical formula of Coca Cola.

If it was not to be published, I would honestly give you some more details.

    Our material is very strong.

Merry christmas, and thank you for writting.

  • I also wonder what material is used for the fixture. If it's not titanium, I wish we could hear what Professor Branemark would have to say...

  • what kind of wax is that??

  • Lots of issues with this case, hope patient is satisfied, and still satisfied in 5 years.

  • Care to elucidate? Interested in your comments.

  • dentsits have to study for 5 year and a further 2 for oral surgery!

There is a lot more to it then it looks! You have to know that the materials are, how they work and why...they have to kn owabou tinfextion, the bine the bady in genral, a lot harder then you would imagine! I know i am a dental Nurse.

  • In Australia its a further 8 years of study to be an oral and maxillofacial surgeo. After that you spend most of your time doing implants and pulling out wisdom teeth which general dentists can (and do) do anyway!

  • And I wish that general dentists would stop! Sorry, after 21 years as an OMSA I've seen far too many aborted extraction efforts...they usually get referred to our oral surgery office at 4:45 on Friday!

  • omg man, i feel bad for you. even though they put you on some kind of anesthetic (im hoping). i bet you could still feel some of the stuff that was going on. did it hurt at all??? and why didnt they put you to sleep????

  • Esta noche me lavo los dientes.

  • I had it done when I fractured my tooth. I was totally asleep and dont remember a thing and there was only pain for a few weeks. After 4 months I got my crown, it is definatly hard to watch but not to go through!

  • why did they have to go so deep?

  • Incredible technology on a tooth! Brilliant.

  • well I would say the reason dentists cost so much is because they have to do 8 years of college costing about 200k in tuition. I would blame it on the schools, why does it cost so much to learn to do something that helps people?

  • DUDE!!! this is sick.. i rather look att dead people than this shit..

  • My teeth are in the poor state they are in today, because or the huge prices dentists charge. Let's look at what they do, its nothing any more than the work I do as an electrician, except I get paid in two weeks the same amount it costs for one implant that takes one hour. I am considering to do my own implants to prove there is no mystery in dentists techniques. Why so expensive for such a short job. I put bolts into concrete walls every day and get paid peanuts to do so, what's the difference?

  • Good point. If you do your own implants and have success, you are the man of the year.

  • Omg that is so nasty

  • Ouch!

  • that had to be the worse thing i ever had to sit through, it was horrible, i am not sleeping easy tonight!

why did they need that done? and did it hurt the patient or were they numbed?

    Good video! 5 stars!

  • all that is temporary where is the titianium screw and permenant stuff

  • there are no titanium screws in this treatment. This is a complete metal free treatment. the definitive crown is generally placed 2 months after the surgery.

  • so we can not use this technique in posterior teeth

  • Would the patients bone have lapped onto the implants within only 2 months? I'm under the impression that it takes upto 4 ~ 6 months before attempting a crown cementation.

  • ok im 13 and this hurts very bad ive had 4 teeth pulled when i was about 4 and im tellin you plz brush and floss than every 6 mths chck up

  • freaking awesome i love it!

  • I couldn't even watch it all!! Ugh!

  • he had a sweet fang there for a moment

  • i got braces i am doing my teeth tonight

  • aaaand THATS why we brush an floss kids!

  • yeah bruch and floss

  • wow. that was gross.

although, the background music was catchy.

not only brush, but floss your teeth too! that person's teeth looked like their last meal was ummmm, how you say, butter! haha

    brush your teeth!

  • aww the little temp. tooth is cute!

  • ohhhhh im gonna faint ive watched about 1000000000 teeth pull vids and im just about to the point of fainting

  • I now love my teeth!

  • waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • um..why does it look like this guy is upside down?

  • I will never ever forget to brush my teeth, wait. where's my toothbrush?hehe

  • I'll brush them 4ever and ever!!

  • im scared...

  • :o I am afraid of that :S

  • now remember kids. brush ur teeth!!!

  • what song is this? it sounds familiar. and cool video

  • kissed by a rose

  • walla bende implant tedavisi olcam acırmıki yhaaa?

  • wow... that is really intresting...kind of changed my mind about wanting implants lol

  • Wow that was excelent work!

  • is art, not work

  • kissed by a rose

  • kiss from a rose :)

  • Very Nice Work

    I prefer some techno musik

  • jesus christ, does removing a tooth hurt?... I have to remove like 4 soon...T_T

  • why dident you use, a policarbon temporaly tooth, making it from resin seems not a great esthetic result, and it seem more work, isent there a temporaly cilinder to make the temporal tooth?

    thenks, interesting issue,

  • great artwork :)

  • eline sağlık usta güzel iş

  • discusting. and i thought gettin a tooth pulled was nasty.

  • As a critique I would say that technique in this video could have been better if implant inclination would have been more lingualized. Soft tissues after a few monthes in this case might have given some trouble, it would be nice to se the final restoration after a complete oseointegration

  • Interesting. Zirconia has been used even for bridges instead of metal since a few years. I wonder if oseointegration is as good as it is with titanium. It would be a very nice alternative in anterior implants.

  • I'd be lying if I said that the power-drill into the gums didn't make me hurt.

    Interesting video, still.

  • i hear ya man.

  • Thanks! Success rate is around 97%. The strength of this implants is impresive! ISO 13356 regulates the chemical and mechanical properties of zirconia implants. With ISO 14801 the mechanical test of implants show that there are any breaking of implants when mechanically loaded at an angle of 30º with 550 Newtons x 5 MILION times. Patients just love it!!!

  • Fantastic result but are success rate for zirconia implants? Is the tesnsile strength up to the challenge of mastication? Will look forward to your comments!

  • very interesting video
