  • they chose a bad song bad that means the song sucks

then they made it bady offensive lol

  • I love this lol seriously

  • The song isnt offensive

    Their costumes are lol

  • that was freaking hilarious!

  • funniest shit ever! cannot stop laughing everytime i watched this XD

  • So is it offensive because Rachel is supposed to be a catholic school-girl and Finn a priest or is Rachel supposed to be a jewish school-girl and Finn a catholic priest (although i dont know why) whit the offensive part being them two rubbing in their new found faith as "a better choice", suggesting their peers lack it and have something to repent about? The later is what i first thought but now that i see Rachels weirdly short, hiked up skirt...

  • @gigi1bokus yeah its basically offensive because its a song about being born again and rachel and finn are doing it as a school girl and a priest, which is supposed to be the offensive part, i dont think the particular faiths are the focus of the offensiveness

  • @klarebear7211 I didnt mean their particular faiths would be the offensive part; i meant if Rachel and Finn were saying "i am born again so i have more faith than you" or implying to their lisseners that they dont have any compared to themselfs. But yeah it could just be the priest and the catholic shool-girl gimick.

  • glee should be sued for spoiling this beautiful song.

  • @ikom35 for every song they do they get the rights to do whatever they want it, its not like they club the writers of the song over the head and steal the rights while theyre unconscious

  • They fail at failing.

  • I love Mercedes saying "This isn't happening :(" LMFAO!!

  • Yes, it was offensive, but it'S anything but bad.

  • i pissed myself when i first saw this...it was sooo offensive it was hillarious!!

  • I like this song but I dont konw why it become inappropiate

  • @trendstterrose It's more visual. What happened in the episode, when Sam joined the club, Rachel and Finn decided to have him feel welcome by losing a duet competition in the club by doing an offensive performance, in which they intentionally dressed as a Catholic school and a Priest singing a love to one another.

  • No, she wasn't a nun, she was a Catholic School Girl, and he played the role of a priest. The song is about "loosing your virginity" which is very offensive when mixing the school girl and the priest. Just pointing that out there.. lol

  • It was offensive because this song is about having sex, and nuns a priest don't have sex:)

  • I only just noticed how gorgeous Finn's first note is :)

  • @rachaelnicolefilms Oh... Now I get it... Sorry --'

  • @backpackify11 its offensive cuz theyre singing about making love and "becoming one. . . . " tht sorta thing. and finns a priest and rachels a catholic school girl.

  • why is this offensive?

  • @Backpackify11 she was dressed as a nun or a school girl n finn was dressed as a priest, its sort of a love song. so the costumes and the prayer motion was offensive, i tot it was epic n funny.

  • I think it's funny how they threw the competition by doing this,LOL! KEEP IN MIND THEY WERE THROWING THE DUETS COMPETION (BUT THEY STILL SOND GOOD), so they intended on offending people. I don't mean to be offensive but I though the choice of costumes and the song they sung were both hilarious!!! I LOVE GLEE!

  • aaaah how hard can it be to find the performances!!!! nobodz cares about pictures!!!

  • I don't understand how this song is rude...

  • @laura95360 Finn was a priest and Rachel was clearly supposed to be underage. At least that was what I thought.

  • @agonifico08buraby no there talking about making love and finn is dressed as a priest and rachel is a convent girl

  • naw, Finn looks so young on @0:07 :3

  • I dont quite understand why they think this song is offensive...

I love it and think they sound great :D

  • @Alckor2711 i think that bcoz they were wearing an appropriate costume to performance with this song. Rachel is Christian schoolgirl n Finn wore monk t-shirt. n the lyrics is about love that conflict with Religion.

  • Comment removed

  • The song has religious overtones and is a love song and Rachel/Finn dressed up as a Priest and either nun or a school girl so it's obviously totally inappropriate for them to be singing such content to one another. The actual song wasn't inappropriate - it's the costumes and the prayer motions they kept making during it. I thought it was hilarious.

  • the glee club was pissed i loved it lls

  • thanks "giggles090892" to explain me that.

  • i dont think it was THAT offensive.. awesome interpretation!

  • they actually sounded amazing!!! and it was so funny the acting and when they said: what?? we are... shock, we are show, i hope this doesnt cost us the competition!!! haha and when the lost, the way they look each other and when finn says: WE DID IT, BABY!!!

  • vou ser sincero como nunca eu vi todas as versões dessa música e nada c compara a essa dupla incrível a voz deles surpreende d+ adorei. particularmente seria um sonho conhecer o pessoal d

    GLEE. vlw

  • What's the name of the song Finn and Rachel actually wanted to sing for the duet-competition in this episode?

  • @Lealinchen97

"Don't go breaking my heart" by Elton John & Kiki Dee.^^

  • What episode is this on??

  • @Wolton11 season 2 ep.4

  • yeah, sweet song!!!

  • It's offensive because this song is about a man and woman being in love with each other and you love making and what not. The part that's offensive is the costumes they chose Finn was a priest and Rachel a nun. In the Catholic church (at least in the U.S.A.) both are suppose to be celibate and are not even allowed to marry. So you can imagine the repercussions of the two singing a love song to each other.

  • I love everyone's reactions! XD

"I seriously want to punch both of you." -Quinn

  • Who sang this originally?

  • @whitelexie123 Billy Preston & Syreeta

  • This song isn't on iTunes!!! :(

  • i love the sound and the singing but the performance was disrespecting :)

  • hahahhaaahahha oh god when finn was holding rachel's hand to pray.. so damn hilarious...

  • You know TheSNSDJjang, i'm happy you ask this question, because i don't understand too ^^ So it's because they are dressed like a nun and a priest?? (sorry if m'y sentences are strange, i only learn english..)

  • seriously u dnt get why its offensive?!? look at their costumes, i mean think! they way they sung it and well....its crosssing a line

  • Sorry for asking AGAIN but what's so offensive about this? XD The girl/man thing wasn't it i read somewhere that this song is about God so i really don;t know what to believe...can someone givem e detailed explanation of what's going on XD what's so offensive Mercedes can't believe and Quinn wants to punch ?

  • They did a good job singing on the bright side but the performance was disrespectful

  • This song is supposed to be bad?

  • @GleeClub64 because they dressed up like a priest and a nun. its totally innappropriate no matter how comfortable you are around other people haha

  • i remember Quinn saying 'i really wanted to punch the both of you.' lmfao <3 that killed me!

  • They're voices are setteld

    And Finchel to

    Lov3!t-3

  • i love it

  • can someone explain how this is offensive to me please

  • "That was really rude", "I seriously wanted to punch both of you". i love their version. :)

  • @fasaja96 Atleast you got it, i JUST got the message because of the previous comments.

  • how waz this sopose to be offensive in the episode

  • @myanferny1 um he was a priest and rachel was a catholic girl and theyre in love LOL

  • The Mariah Carey version of this song is terrible stop complementing it "I'm born agay-ee-ay-ay-yeah-ee-ay-yee-oh-way-yeah-ohhh-hoo, agay-ee-ayy-ee-ay-en!"

Bitch just sing the damn song, you do not have to warble like that after the end of every sentence!

  • @Tactual LMFAO xD

  • Glee fails at trying to intentionally make a bad cover of a song, (e.g. With you I'm Born again, and Run Joey Run). But they always succeed at making a bad song sound awesome (e.g. Friday)

  • @ja52ng74 They weren't trying to make it bad, they tried to make it offensive, which they were totally succesful at.

  • @ja52ng74 ^ PREACH !

And Mercedes's "This is not happening." is HILARIOUS XDDD

  • Such a beautiful song....

  • shit.

  • @everyonewatching: You believe that the costumes are offensive? Well, the song is TOO! The song says is tellin you what to do, so you have to do it!! GIVE ME SWEETNESS! Not hatred!

  • i love this song, but out of context ONLY!! This is the most offensive thing i've seen in a very long time....I know that Glee takes a very liberal approach on many things but this was over the line...

  • @jonasfreak08 Oh get over it.

  • @jonasfreak08 they were making it intentionally offensive.

  • I love Cory's voice in this!

  • sorry she sounds like Minnie Mouse, don't think the Glee cast is good. Sorry...This is a beautiful love song...

  • @cpsoccer99 Finn is dressed up as a Priest (he is wearing a stole on his collar.) And Rachel is dressed like a young girl who would be preparing to enter a nunnery or something along those lines. Either way, both have pledged to stay chaste and devoted themselves to God. Neither are supposed to be having sexual intercourse, therefore their portrayal of the song is offensive to religious people, namely Roman Catholic's.

  • is it weird that i find finn extremely hot in this entire scene? ..... lmao

  • @browneyesx31 I know! I kept thinking 'Forgive me, Father, for sinful thinking.' Lol.

  • i always listen to this when i need to laugh

  • i died at mercedes "this isn't happening" lmao i wasn't expecting to hear it

  • this is hilarious! favorite song of finn and rachel so far.

  • quinn: i seriously wan't to punch both of you

  • Umm I think her skirt is too short to be a nun...but her voice is soulless

  • @etemuru Rachel's a schoolgirl and Finn's a priest

  • I couldn't help laughing

  • eugh why did mercedes have to interrupt?

  • i'm so confused, why is this offensive?

  • @Frog869 finn is dressed as a priest and rachels a school girl(or possibly a nun, pretty sure its like a catholic school girl though) and this is a song about having sex..so its offensive..but i find it hillarious and im even catholic :)

  • hahahhahah this cracks me up...oh the irony

  • i wish they actually published a single on this... i dont care if its offensive love this song!

  • It's offensive because it's a nun and a priest. Nuns aren't allowed to be with anyone

  • I JUST got why its offensive....

Is it wrong that I find it more hilarious then offensive?

  • @CarlieJohnsonn I still don't get it :L

  • OHHHHHH I get it!!!! I'm so slow cause I was thinking to myself Finn is a priest or father and Rachel is like a school girl... I don't get it. And I'm such an idiot cause I had it all put together and... I swear I'm so stupid!!!!!! XD

  • I love the way they sang this but I dot get the joke... What happened???

  • i don't get it

  • This never gets old hahaha

  • Just came from watching Mariah Carey & John Legend's version of this song. And honestly vocally they make these two sound like SHIT.

  • @fasaja96 i had to watch it five times, until it finally hit me, so you're quicker than me! :)

  • i love how the rest react to their performance. lol

  • Despite the fact that this is supposed to be offensive, this is one of my favorite Finnchel moments. I found it strangely adorable.

  • They were so cute together :D

  • i rofl at mercedes' reaction when i saw the episode.

  • why is ofensive? the song is beautiful but why is ofensive

  • @bettyemo12 because Finn is disguised as father and Richel as convent girl and that is dirty like a father to make love with a girl (understand)

  • @eduarwacko14 kinda wondered about that myself

  • @eduarwacko14 Finn is a priest

  • @eduarwacko14 how do u no finn is a father?

  • @eduarwacko14 he a priest actually and rachel's a catholic girl, the religeous refrences make it offensive

  • @eduarwacko14 Finn was actually dressed as a PRIEST and Rachel a Catholic girl. So it's even worse.

  • @numbuh53 Not to mention Rachel is jewish and altso singing about being born again wich is really wrong acording to catholics..

  • @bettyemo12 because they dressed up as a priest and nun and sung this song to each other...that's why the others thought it was offensive...i really love this song and being sung by glee makes it all the more better :D

  • @bettyemo12 its a song about people feeling born again after doing it

  • @fasaja96 jajajajaja

  • they sing it very well :), minus the performance of course haha... i basically laughed loud while watching it.. but if you listen to it with your eyes closed, it's wonderful

  • Where did you get the picture at 0:16 and 1:17?!

    It's freaking hilarious!!! xD

  • @Falc0nify by internet images :D

  • This was hilarious.

  • love this song but their costumes iintentionally bad lol

  • <3 beautiful song <3

  • love this song :) so sad but so great :D

  • @jjaust Finn is dressed as a priest and Rachel a school girl the song is basically about sex.

  • @JerichaG92 oh ok thanks

  • really really good, but what i don't get is how is that offensive
