KIDDO! SLOW IT DOWN!!! You have lost the entire point of the exercise. DETACHE!!!! Not to mention, you are missing notes everywhere. I have taught now for 30 years. If you were my student, as talented as you are (which you are), you would not be allowed to get away with such inconsistent playing. Seeing how naturally talented you are, I KNOW you are being lazy in your practice, meaning you aren't isolating issues. Hence, you are teaching your brain to play it incorrectly! STOP THAT!
Dude, you are JUST like me. I love music, and I can play violin well, but whenever I post videos of myself, I don't practice the piece much, and I rush it through the proper tempo, instead of adjusting it to my ability and efficiency. You can't ever satisfy YouTubers, but I would recommend practicing a bit more and slowing it down a tad, if you want to make so0me of these people satisfied. Obviously, you are quite a decent player. Good luck!

@ViolaPereira Professionals would never play it that fast because it wasn't meant to be played fast. It is an exercise to open up the elbow, playing a detache' stroke. It isn't a fast exercise. I am a professional and have been for a long, LONG time.
If I could just make one comment, when you are doing the difficult string crossings, try to think of slowing down a little just before the cross. Most of the time people rush the string crossings a little to get them over with, and the result is a little blurry, so if you think of pulling back just a little it will actually be more manageable and in time.
I would say stand when you practise, think a little more about the phrasing, play each individual pharse slowly, this can also help with intonation...also try and think about your bow division. Excellent
Very good overall, you have a mature tone and much potential. I would suggest to practice as slow as humanly possible with a tuner on F every day. Another method I find very useful is tuning each note to its neighbor string, play double stops throughout to find those hidden ringing tones. It can bring sound quality to another level. best of luck to you
PS I am pursuing my first degree in viola performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of music.
if this piece is to be played fast it needs to be light, wel played though but it wud sound loads better slower. play it faster once u hav perfected ur action at slower speed :)
Hm, I agree, this is not an etude for speed, more a precision of a focused sound, control, and quality. You are very talented, I can see that, but maybe practice it a little slower, as playing fast all the time will only make your playing worse.
Might I also suggest standing up when you play? Unless you have a physical issue with standing while playing, it gives you more room and therefore lets you to be not as tight when you play.
Thanks alot. i always stand up when i play. i just can't record myself because i only do it whne my mom isnt home so i can have perfect silence. thanks.
It is too fast. This etude is to be practiced very slowly for bow control. Getting a focused sound with clear articulation. try eighth note=50. no faster. It is not a speed etude.
Focus on perfect intonation, straight bow, good sound, good articulation, clear string crossings.
Try splitting the bow in 3 parts. So play through L 1/3 M 1/3 and up/13 keeping in mind all of the above factors. Good luck =)
Deberias estudiar mas lento y fijandote en la afinacion.

speed is a difficult thing to attain. As a former guitar player i learned to get to speed by perfecting a piece at a slow pace first...
practice and then some....hey u did great !
thanks for posting this vid.
