@superduckey I wholeheartedly disagree. To cover a song you surely have to capture some of the essence of the song otherwise what exactly is the point. My issue with the Blink cover of 'Another Girl..' is firstly the words are wrong and secondly that the guitar, so beautifully crafted on the original, and surely the signature of the song, is totally ignored in favour of a fairly nondescript riff which could have been from ANY song. They might as well have written a new tune...
