  • MAN get to the POINT !!

  • GO GLOCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hahahaha this guy is pretty defensive about his sense of humor.

  • Ok, we get the point... you're a jokester. Now get to the gun...

  • booger hook, very funny

  • Great vid bruh! I agree with u 100% u should take gun handling VERY VERY serious cause the day u dont some1 will get hurt.

  • Hahaha, I like how your dog is just sitting there starring at all of us. He looks laid back.

  • "Call Glock -- I'll give you the number." LOL, good one. In reference to slide release or slide lock. I'm with you, at the range I never touch it, tap and rack baby!

  • You really work hard at your videos.... Thank you so much .... you have given me much good insight on these Glocks....

    Thanks Again Man....

  • good vid buddy i was about to ask if you think i should keep my extended slide stop on or keep the original well i switched back to the original your right i always slingshot my guns to chamber a rd btw im loving my gen4 19 bein left handed switching the mag release is awesome lol

  • what if the design itself is unsafe? case and point the R700 pre1980's run. they had problems with trigger sears coming loose and firing without the trigger being pulled. although, you SHOULD transport guns UNLOADED just thought I'd bring that up.

  • Added to fav's, a lot of excellent points!

  • I carry a Glock 19 both at work and for ccw here in Florida. I always carry 15+1 with the factory trigger, never ever have i had an "accidental" or negligent discharge. I once had my Glock sitting on my window sill in my room and the wind blew my blinds knocking my firearm about 4ft to the floor, it didn't discharge. Scared the shit out of me and taught me a lesson, but i trust it with my life none the less. Love your vids, your attentive dog is great lol!

  • Very well said, Thanks for the great info you provide, You are an asset to the firearm community. The wife is really looking forward to her trip to the range with her new G-27, Your suggestions are factual and much appreciated to her..

  • @jidavies There you are lol, this video was inspired by you buddy!

  • Good video! I hate when people and especially gun guys on youtube and what not say they dont feel "safe" enough to carry the glock loaded plus one... I mean whats that about?

  • Sorry, another comment...look at her eyes, that dog loves you so much

  • @mrpicky510 Yes sir, I treat her like a baby lol

  • Man, why did you cut your dog's ears? I own 2 pits and refuse to do anything that would make their appearance fearful to others. I have a hard enough time walking my pups with the tattoos and bald head, but when people meet my dogs they are always surprised at how nice they are. I know you are a breed advocate, so don't get me wrong, just don't understand why you cropped the ears

  • @mrpicky510 Both of my dogs ears were already done before I got them, I like the natural ears on them as well.

  • H4T, iv probably watched 95% of ur vids im and I noticed something that you always do Im sure u heard that before tho... cant wait for the diaper video thats gonna be funny lol

  • @3BabyMamas haha, my favorite guy 3BabyMamas!! lol, whats been up man? Oh yeah the diaper video will be all lol's....

  • have you a glock 18?

  • @CajunCatfish12 lololol how many do you need? Only thing is mine are made of cardboard and my mothers scrap paper.. lolol

  • @humans4targets2 @cajuncatfish12 I don't think one can legally carry a glock 18 without some sort of special permit issued by the police, or being outside of the military/Law enforcement, I could be wrong, I know where I live, they are illegal as all hell

  • i like the seriousness

  • I noticed you have a glock. Did you get rid of your HKs. lol jk. Good vid. I love seeing your dogs in your vids. I realy miss my dog. Take care.

  • @hk45shooter lol no I still have them, and I am sorry about your pup bro....

  • awesome looking dog!keep her in your videos!great video!great common sense safety concerns!

  • @bobsolla You got it buddy!

  • great vdeo Paul !

  • Great points unsafe people not guns and those who want to do everything they see on the outdoor channel some of those mods are not needed and need to be left alone.

  • *times- ...3(the Golden Rule) KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER, AND OUT OF THE TRIGGER GUARD, UNTIL YOU INTEND TO FIRE!!!! ...and 4, be certain of your target, and the entire possible trajectory of the rounds you fire- and one final note to newcomers- I agree with Paul- don't modify your Glock Pistol- there is no need to- they are about as perfect as you can buy, out of the box- the more you fire it in practice, the better the pistol, (and you) become! PEACE!

  • You'd be surprised how many people I see at gunshops that handle guns unsafely. One shop the clerk pointed a 1911 at me and handed it to me. Did not even open the action. At the public range I see some crazy stuff (unsafe). People laugh at me when I talk about gun safety. Not a fan of 40, i'm a 9 and 45 guy heheheheh. Oh and I hope never to see your storage unit on Storage Wars!!!! j/k. A buddy of mine stores all his guns at a climate controlled high tech unit.

  • @TheOl1911 Not surprised at all. My old man taught me about shooting and gun safety when I was 10 years old. He was extremely strict about it and it stayed with me to this day. I am utterly appalled by how people handle their weapons. It even pisses me off when I'm handed a revolver without the cylinder dropped. For the sake of god, people...take basic firearm training.

  • bit of advice- never let your Glock pistol run completely empty, if you have enough mind to count your shots- ...say, your Glock holds 13+1- when you count 12-13, drop the mag, slam a new one home, back to business... I love that you know that there are only 4 basic firearm safety rules- (not 10)- you should make an entire video about that, for the newcomers- 1-Never point your gun at anything you do not wish to destroy- 2-Treat every firearm as if were loaded, at all time...

  • Another great vid, Paul- the only things I might wish to point out are- you are a left handed shooter- for a right handed shooter of the Glock pistol, the slide stop/release are easier for a righty than a lefly, because rightys right thumb is naturally in place, for a reload scenario. Another contention point is- shoot a Glock like you would a revolver- with the first crook of your shooting finger on the trigger safety- that helps with the low-left thing that you spoke of- If I may add one more-

  • Excellent vid Paul! Great opinions & very informative! Looking forward to those "less serious" vids as well. Lol

    Take care

    Chris

  • i perfer the slide stop to chamber the new round because i can do it with both hands on the gun, with the slingshot method you have to take your free hand and slingshot the slide to strip off the round after slideing in the new clip and then replace it on the gun. when you use the slide stop you can slide your hand right back into shooting position on the gun as you hit the slide stop after putting in the new mag. im also not a range shooter im a tactical type shooter and its just my opinion

  • Sound advice, bo.

  • I use the slide release because it's faster and feeds the round more reliably (no chance of riding the slide or missing the slide with my hand).

Also, your dog is adorable :)

  • I feel the same way as you Paul when I rarely post videos, I'm not really thinking of joking around but in person I act like I'm fucking 10 years old in the head. I can tell by some of your comment replies etc that you have a sense of humor but I get what you're saying.. Nice video bro !!

  • I am a fan of being silly. I am actually serious only about 15% of the time. I am sarcastic too. Sometimes its bad..haha

"My glock is stock" would be great lyrics for a song.

Great answers to some good questions!

  • nice

  • It's your channel and your video, and I don't mean to attach one of my vids to it and then judge others, but what's up with Matrixone's video response? Off topic doesn't begin to cover it. I don't mean to offend if he's a friend of yours or something but wtf?

  • h4t to be honest i like your straight foward serious approach to gun talk because frankly its a serious matter peoples lives depend on the side arms they choose and carry. and i've chosen all my guns except one based on your reviews matter of fact i bought one today based on a video of yours. but i must say when you washed your glock in the bath tub that was hillarious! but thats about as much comedy as i need with my gun talk! keep the info coming-peace-

  • I think a lil comedy would be good for the channel, if u demonstrate that holster u have that looks like a diaper that be a good start.......lol

  • @3BabyMamas LOL funny you mention that, I am planning a video on it..

  • this is a great vidya on the glock! btw 720p looks extra crisp! you memory needs to SUCK LESS!!!!

  • @MatrixOne976 Suck less Elliot

  • @ElliotSelfElkGrove LOL is that possible????

  • Comment removed

  • @ElliotSelfElkGrove fuck you

  • @MatrixOne976 fuck your fat hog

  • Being a Glock shooter myself and a competition shooter, I use the slide stop in competitions to let the slide go after reloading. I don't use the extended though, the non-extended works just fine for me.

  • @xZarthornx Yes, I forgot to mention that, in competition with certain guns they do use the slide stop lever....

  • Slide stop for lefty's, Slide release for righty's. Lol! You would probably barf if you saw the mods on my G29sf. Good video man, maybe you should smile more or something.

  • this is a great vidya on the glock! btw 720p looks extra crisp!

  • You are 100% on the money here. Great vid.! Also, some guns will not chamber using the slide lock to drop. I don't know how they do it but Springfield 40's snap much less than Glock or SW.

  • why so serious?

  • What kind of dog is that??... I'm not a dog expert and I'm thinking about getting one. Yours is very pretty.

  • @TheHeartOfTheLion pitbulls

  • Are you talking about a flinch in the beginning. I read in a book to find out if you have a flinch you can have someone load a mag for you then add a snap cap in a random place. If the person flinches with the snap cap you know they have one.

  • i was amused at the dry expression of your humor. "no srsly guys, i like jokes, i watch chris farley. i do pranks."

    nicely done XD

  • Everybody knows that beard you had was a prop from a local production of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. What about the 'Psych' video? C'mon folks. Too serious.

Deadpan is humor as well. You do you, buddy. Works just fine.

  • @humans4target2 i call that the breakdown tab

  • This might sound crazy, but I carried my Glock with the trigger cocked, but the chamber empty for the 1st year; just to prove to myself I could do it and not touch the trigger. Yes I agree, stock is the way to keep a Glock. I currently have a G19 and G23 both gen 3.

  • Relevant quote is relevant:

"Get yourself a Glock and lose that nickel-plated sissy pistol" /US Marshals

  • just a suggestion H4T: I've seen other youtubers print up a list of messages and/or comments for these FAQs and just go through them if you want to try that

  • People who says Glocks arent safe, do not understand how the striker system works.

  • i like the serious stuff... i hate when people go on and on on about stuff that i didn't come to their channel for. I came for gun stuff period

  • Dude, Sunday was fun, lmao, when you did that crazy dance move you did while kicking that robber in the face. And when you did like the funky worm dance move on the street! LMAO

  • @GMGvanS LOLOLOL yeah you were right there and it was fun right?

  • @humans4targets2 lmao, yes it was kick ass.

  • chris farley FTW!!

  • Always informative Thanks

  • As you know, I used to work pretty close to you. I watch your vids because you are knowledgable, interesting, and informative. When I put on the uniform, and go to work, I am not the same person that I am at home. So I understand where you're coming from.

  • @flabeachcomber That sums it up pretty well, thanks for watching!

  • I think your videos are great and very informative and help me understand things about guns and all the accessories that I cannot get through reading a magazine. I am fairly new to the handgun community and truely value your opinions. Keep up the good work!

  • no need to change the style of your vids, your channel and videos are excellent!

  • @USMC19777 Thanks man, I have fun making them.

  • HOW DARE YOU MAKE SUCH A LONG VIDEO

SHAME ON YOU H4T! SHAME ON YOU!

    //jokejokejoke

  • excellent video

  • you dont seem too serious to me, just that your videos are about conveying information, not entertainment

  • I wouldn't worry too much, I and the vast majority of your subscribers watch your vids for gun info, not comedy. You make good vids, don't change.

  • Washing a Glock in the tub was HI-larious.

  • @Grubkat lol great point, I forgot about that one, and that was the real me like when im not on camera lol

  • I want a doggy! She's so cute! The way she put her paw on your lap!

  • @MATAtheFIRST Thanks, she is very sweet and she was trying to sneak onto my lap....

  • first 15mins was more general gun safety rather than glock FAQ but still good info.

  • @cianw10 Thats true, but I threw that in for the people new to guns.

  • Great video. A couple of points, one, where you mention dry fire practice, I've found it to be really helpful to mount a laser on your gun if you can. It helps you see just how much you're moving it around when you pull the trigger. As for Glocks and safety, I've never understood al lthe consternation. So what if they don't have a "safety"? Revolvers never did and nobody kvetches about it. Keep up the good work man.

  • One of the tags for this vid is "cutlerylover"

  • i LOVE my MIC holster (minimal inside carry) for my G26.. Covers the trigger guard, and goes on securely.. Look it up here on youtube!!!!

  • so when you say we will get to see you haveing fun are you talking about showing us your home moveies from when you spent the summer with your best friend in Utah last year ihear it was a hell of a time LOL

  • @glock10mm "Sometimes the best words are no words at all" LOLOLOLOLOL HAHAHAHAHA

  • @humans4targets2 yes i would keep quiet about that little adventure as well LOL

  • Good video, Paul. Good content for some good noobs and I agree with many of your points, especially on unnecessary mods. I submitted a video response with a Pierce magazine extension mod on my G26 because I was loading it up and thought it was relevant. BTW, none of the anti-modification commentary in that video is directed at you, buddy.

  • @jkeys251 No problem man, I have several mags with the extensions, but of course I forgot to talk about that.... lol

  • "Is this gonna be on the test?" -The Dog (JD?)

  • the face of your pitbull seems to hear it!

    nice video!!! take care!!

  • You need to be serious around guns. We all know what can happen when you get distracted while handling guns. I personally don't have a problem with the way you present yourself in your videos. If I wanted to watch comedy, I wouldn't be watching gun videos.

  • I liked the intro, it was almost as if you were Matt Foley the motivational speaker, hahaha, I LIVE IN A VAAAANNNN DOWN BY THE RIVER!!!!!

  • @cutlerylover LOL you got that right, and just let me say that.... My name is Matt Foley and I am 35 years old, I am thrice divorced and I live in a van down by the river.

  • @humans4targets2 ahhahaahahha

  • So which holster would you recommend for an IWB glock 23? Ragsdale or Super Tuck? You've had them for a while now so I figure you have a good opinion of them by now.

  • @wchrisw Go Ragsdale, it is cheaper and right now crossbreed has a 4-6 week wait.

  • Good vid BTW.

  • Usually a low left shot is because the person is "milking" the grip. When they are squeezing the trigger the fingers that are on the grip act in a sympathetic way and are also squeezing on the grip at the same time as the trigger pull. This squeezing on the grip causes the barrel to tip down and torque left (lefties will be low and right).

  • I agree 100% with everything you covered here. I've been shooting firearms for over 35 years, and just within the last few years the Glock pistols and they are a different breed for sure, but I love them and it just takes some common sense and safe handling. Thanks brother for another great video....Be safe.

  • Had a question for you paul, I noticed recently that most of my shots are hitting low and right, most of them seem to lean right on me. I'm a right handed shooter, I'm definetely gonna be trying some of the tips you pointed out on the video. Is there any other advice you'd be able to provide me with?

  • @MrFORTYNINER Look up "Pistol Correction Chart" on google or something. It will help diagnose your problem. :)

  • @MrFORTYNINER Watch finger placement on the trigger, not to much or to little and that could help.

  • Great video. You made a lot of sound points. I think for neophytes, the best type of gun is a revolver like a J-frame Smith or Ruger LCR. I think a dainty lady who bought a gun solely for protection would be better served with a snub. All they have to worry about is aiming and pulling the trigger. For all you macho chicks, by all means get yourself a 1911 and carry it in condition 1 if that floats your boat. That being said, I see a lot of people who need basic firearm training.

  • Why....So....Serious....

  • im looking into a springfield xd full size 45 any oppinion on this firearm?

  • "THERE IS NO UNSAFE GUN, THERE IS ONLY UNSAFE PEOPLE" THE MANTRA ALL LAW ABIDING GUN OWNERS SHOULD LIVE BY. THE MANTRA THE NRA STANDS FOR. GREAT VIDEO MAN. COULDN'T AGREE WITH YOU MORE

  • Great video for the most part. I do disagree with the way you index the threat, then put your finger on the trigger then re-index the target. In my training when the gun left the close retention position and was being extended to the target the trigger finger was already starting its squeeze. The trigger broke as soon as the front sight hit the threat.

I also disagree with using the "slingshot" method, even though I know its what Glock recommends. Unless its a tap-rack-bang drill.

  • @dragonballjiujitsu If I were pulling the gun for street use it would be different than at the range which was what I was talking about here.

  • @humans4targets2 Ah, but its a fact that we will do in a real fight what we have trained to do.

  • aka slide lock

  • @cocaobobo The slide lock lever is the two tabs you pull down on near the front of the frame to take the gun apart.

  • @humans4targets2 I think he meant slide release. :)

  • Every one this days doing away to long videos now ; (

  • what's up with your videos lately? Are you using a new camera or editing software? The video seems to be choppy to the point i can't even watch it. The audio is fine but the video just stops for 30+ seconds.

  • @808Arsenal are you an arsenal ffc supporter, or do you mean the other arsenal?

  • @hjaansi fc*

  • @808Arsenal No, everything is the same, camera, editing program and all.

  • k its working in HD now lol

  • @SitBackAndChillAx Cool, thanks for watching!

  • Thanks for the video I watched like 6 mins of it and i think ima wait till youtube processes it cuz the quality is only 240 right now and sound quality hurts to try and listen too lol
