that wedge is only good for attacking enemy cav to split their unit in 2 not infantry, the standard square formation would have punished these spartans

@FETTUCINIfc Actually, if the enemy has split their force in two through a cunning diversion (of your own) you can split their ranks apart with a single wedge, because your cavalry can get in between their ranks, thus cutting vital support off from the bulk of your army, shattering morale easily.

@FETTUCINIfc In real life that cavalry charge would have sent the Spartans running for their lives, war in those times was confusing, and being flanked was terrifying, and still is today.

Those spearmen animation just kills the mod for me no offense but its so fucking stupid, i know the greeks some times would attack like that (when in phalanx formation) but making the fight like that the entire battle its just too stupid.

@RazlerofEsthar yes exactly but i liked the slow_spearman anim the one they hold the spear waist level, i know how to change it but unfortunately this new models dont allow it due to the way the spear is positioned so i rarely play with the greeks fortunately romans and barbarians are perfect XD

Nice video but the legions you are using are from the 1st century A.D. A real Roman army facing the spartans would have only units before the marian reforme. (astati, princioes, triari, velites, equites), instead of your Late cohorts and cataphract cavalry ala roxolani.

i love roma surrectum two but i'm having trouble installing it. I installed it into the default browser and then when i tried to play the game it gave me an error sign. can someone please help.

I hate to fight the roman,cause i'm italian but the spartan have the best spearman as i know.Lack in cavalry instead.

@XDlolzilla what the others meant is this S.P.Q.R. is latin and we (people of the 21st century don't speak latin any more so we have to say rome not S.P.Q.R. so you are technicly correct that there ain't a faction called S.P.Q.R. but you are also mistaken cause what we would call rome today would be translated in the S.P.Q.R. by italians 2000 years ago or by rich/foreign people who would call it Roma
