  • @trainsify Yeah, bring back The Monkees!

  • I remember "Action" as having one of the sweetest little guitar change-up riffs ever recorded....Loved it.

  • are you ready steve? unh huh. andy? yeah. mick? okay. alright fellas, let's gooooooooooo!

  • @CUMSLUTSINC You're gonna have to stop reading my mind...or maybe not.

  • Great band - and they never told you how you should vote or how to otherwise 'save the planet' :-P

  • peter, they all shagged alvin stardust, and gary glitter, ha ha ha.

  • Woooo hooo lets gooooo!

  • one of my great songs too from my teenage years, i was crazy from this band The Sweet, and the singer in this days where very handsome too! ;D

  • Not so long ago in a distant land ,not too far away from our own galaxy, boys were girls and girls were boys and they all had platform shoes and wore silver and glitter clothing,it was time for ziggy stardust to come to earth and live among us...............

  • very poor. which one shagged alvin stardust

  • ha ha thanks meories what lyrics we used to sing to this lol

  • takes me back to much better times when life was fun god bless you brian r i p x x

  • One of the great songs from my teenage years. We had a jukebox in our cafeteria at school and everyday, the teaching staff was treated to countless hours of Sweet / Ballroom Blitz, and KISS / Rock 'n Roll All Nite. Drove them nuts.

  • i was born in 94 and my dad would always play sweet for us..with all this new music now adays i forgot about these guys..they r on the top of my list as of now though :)

  • Thank You JESUS !!! AMAZING ♥♥

  • My father told me of this band when I was about 11 years old and I have loved them ever since!

Deffo no one quite like Sweet <3

  • @XxBecca123xX yes we do! :)

  • What amazing voices these guys have got!

  • Reminds me of something that could be on The Rocky Horror soundtrack...

  • OOOOOOOOOOOOOHH YEEEEEEAAAAH

  • mick is a HELL of a drummer. not many better than him.

  • Love the lyric ..reaching out for something and touching nothings' all I ever do....

    Great song.

Can listen to it ad nauseam...

  • Back then there was guaranteed to be a fight at a disco and a Slade song usually kicked it off if Sweet did'nt. Anybody want to be honest and agree?

  • how true i was at teenager in glasgow slade started as skinheads ah think, but slade,e music "wiz gallus" a Glasgow term that means cool , not frightend of anything and bold

  • @NOVATICANWARS Gallus covers it pretty well. Everybody used to have a a tartan bit sewn into the back panel of Levi jackets too untill the rollers nicked the idea and put the boys off. Wild times.

  • 2 people don't go for the ballroom blitz! poor kids....

  • One of my favourite glam rock groups yeay!! one of my favourites numbers too. I loved the 70s and so glad it was my era!!

  • @Shaneesi

Me too! CAn t understand how anybody likes listening to that shit they re playing in the clubs TODAY!...*G*

  • @Shaneesi man im 13 and i hate the 2000s they suck watching movies like Dazed and Confused really paint a picture i gues i love everything about the 70's the cars the music the cloths everything man if you evr make a time machine tell me hahha

  • @Nicholsable I was there and it was shit...the only good thing was that there was more freedom and no cctvs...sexism,racism, homophobia, it was shit i tell you!!!

  • @Nicholsable I grew up in the 90's but I grew up listening to music like this, i think it doesn't matter when you grew up... The only thing you're missing by not having been alive in the 70's is that you're not really old now. If you want a 70's car you can get it for cheap, the music is free on youtube, and the clothes are cheap in the charity shops... knock yourself out :)

  • Proste bohovskí:):):)

  • Originallity is the name of the game back in the 70s. If I wasn't told this music was done 40 years ago I'd thought this was a new hit. Awesom music!!

  • age 46, this song came on was a riot even in primary school , lol

  • man war das damals eine geile Zeit. Sweet, Slade, T-Rex etc.

  • Back then we really did go dancing in ballrooms...Friday and Saturday nights, revoling stage, 2 live show-bands, 6 bars....dressed to the nines...oh yeah, we knew how to party in the 70s!!!!

  • хорошо подурачились!

  • МУЗЫКА МОЕГО ДЕТСТВА! БРАЙНА И МИКА УЖЕ НЕТ...

  • strange :(

  • The vocals sound a little gay.....lol

  • драйв от романтики рока 70-х

  • i was born in 1959 but i have every fifteen like peter pan syndrome

  • Comment removed

  • Hahaha for some reason I dont think of ''Wayne's World'' when I hear this song...To me what I hear is something that would more fitting for ''The Rocky Horror Picture Show" haha It's a groovy song!

  • god, they were great times, mass fights in the school disco every friday night when this track or a slade track came on, bottles of v.p wine smuggled under the coat , thinking you were big if you had a packet of 10 nos 10s to smoke & if you were really lucky a quick fumble off one of the birds you fancied, great great times.

  • @TheSteviemoore YOU ARE SO RIGHT MATE, O FOR THE GOOD TIMES AGAIN.

  • @margatela I wish I knew then what I know now , I would not be working 12 hour shifts for peanuts, I would have been selling drugs if they had been around then & making loads of money & spending it on a better class of women & wine, no not really I loved every minute of those times & I would not change a thing, great great memories, I just feel sorry for todays kids not knowing the real fun & great tunes our generation had & not having a care in the world at the time, now I' ve turned into my dad

  • They were surpringly raw on record. Good rock n roll.

  • Oh Boy its so Sweet to see them again...Great nostalgia for me to see these boys

    again...We had it All:-)

  • Jeg var bare fan af denne gruppe, de var så skønne, desværre lever Brian ikke mere.

  • Before drum machines there were people who could play drums like this. amazing talent.

  • ORIGINAL AND TRUE GREATS.

SUCH A SHAME BRIANS LIFE WAS CUT SHORTP

  • i agree leprachaun745 this was deffinatly my teen age year's and what great year's they were we had it all

  • brian was taggarts half brother

  • Same here, Born in 1960.

The Sweet were my absolute Idols.

Hell Raiser, Ballroom Blitz absolute classics.

  • The Sweet has touched me in their 72-75 period. I will never forget my air-drumming moments . Gay? No way. Glamour? Yes, in their appearances. Controlled ? Yes, by Chinn-Chapmann. No matter what, I like them for what they once were, they were there at the right time and right place. In my life. Slade, Garry Glitter, Susie Quatro, Mud, Osmond Brothers, you name it. Sweet is NOT Mozart, nor Miles Davis, nor Joe Satrinai. What the heck? They MOVED my world as a teenager.
