  • @TylerThrashPeace Good and evil are the same. It's only a matter of perspective. We live in a universe, where everything is one. The only reason you say "murder" is bad is because you have a conscience and as a human you deem it unnecessary. A lion has to "murder" a zebra in order survive. Is that bad?

  • @R1O7ZZZZ No but if you do it out of unnecessary hate, anger or fear then it is, its evil. I more deep level, accepting desire is weak and leads to these evil consequences. While good is patient, wise/knowledgeable and complete. Evil is something natural and corrupted and good is something natural that succeeded in the right way. What is the right way? Well one that leads to happiness, less suffering, doesnt push others down to keep up oneself, and growth of good knowledge and wisdom and peace.

  • Meditation is beneficial when it is done properly. But bear in mind that it is not easy to learn how to meditate properly. Overcoming your difficulties is one of the lessons you will learn on how to meditate properly. Do not get disheartened and keep persevering

  • @nightfall200 He explained in a video, when your are saying, (like a mantra), what you feel at that moment, the mind realizes that this feeling is only physical, that way, you do not you stick to that emotion or feeling and it soon , disappear. The best for you.

I've been very depressed lately and I didn't know how to feel absolutely better but now I know how to get one clear thought on this and I'm able to put a smile on my face. ^_^ again thank you for posting this. I know this might be an old video or what ever but I find this to be the most amazing explanation for mediation.

  • Is it normal to meditate and to feel like your on an almost psychadelic trip? I meditated starting off with eyes closed for an hour lying down, opened my eyes and tried to meditate with eyes open and I got my ceiling to morph and move and my fan was moving and morphing and there was this crazy feeling, but I was also listening to alpha wave music so I can't be sure who to credit, so I turned the music off and opened my eyes and could still morph things.

    I would just try and calm down each time you feel flustered, it sounds hard but I would really just take baby steps :)

    If not, well maybe seek some form of help?

  • @immue .. hi, the first step is desire, your desire or want (try not to NEED to meditate "i need to otherwise..."

    that will cause you more stress, so, dont think about it too much, its going to be very challenging at first, but repeat as much as you want/can, and get into the habit of it... just get used to 10 mins a day (maybe befor sleeping) then extend the time when you get used to it, and as u do, it will get easier and more beneficial, but main thing is keep doing it! all the best! tj

  • To escape a circle of birthes and death - means to finish the personal karma on our planet. There is a law of karma, also quantity of incarnations:... in each big circle of evolution of planet ( 7 circles) and... in each human race ( 7 races). This quantity - hundreds and thousand human lives, also the records (coded by the nature in DNA) about all our valuable (especially strong and important for the person) feelings and senses (positive and negative), moral and immoral.

  • you're describing everything I'm dealing with. stress, depression, anger, worries frustrations... usually I would listen to music to get away from such problems, but it's only temporary. like someone said, this "defrags the mind" I like that. yes, i need to overcome my mental suffering. this seems more like what I need. thank you

  • when my son (asperger) was bullied, I told him to pray. He said it didn't work.  The school gave him even deeper words to pray for himself...something along the lines of "I am a good person."

  • I have LOTS of tension in neck, back etc. So it's very hard and uncomfortable to sit like this for me.. Is it okay if I lay down, still with my hands and legs crossed? Or how should I posision myself?

  • Although my reason for getting into meditation is to suppress metal pain, I also was wondering if it can also some what ease down my tourettes. I tried Yoga and It was MAJOR help fortunately,I felt like a million bucks. Unfortunately I dont have the money to afford at least 3 classes for two weeks. I know meditation is not going to cure it but i would assume it will ease it down a notch like yoga. BTW this video was extremely helpful.

  • Hello there. I admire your wisdom. You seem to have great experience with the practice of meditation. I use a pillow folded in half (for twice the padding) to sit on, while crossing my legs such as you do in this video, and I try to keep my back straight, but not overextended so that it is balanced. Usually I need to tense the muscles in my upper thighs/groin area to stop my body from falling backward and to balance myself. Is this ok? Or do I have to be completely relaxed?

  • I would like to calm my autistic child using meditation. What would you suggest when ADD is also a factor. I know that meditation will help his mental state if I can ever get him to calm down.

  • @ddhdearlove The first step would be to start practicing meditation yourself. Your own attitude towards his condition will most likely be an important factor in helping him become calm. In fact, your own meditation is most likely to be the cause for him to become interested in meditation himself. There are many kinds of meditation, you could try the one I show here; I have redone these videos on my channel and added more. Check out the new ones and send me a private message.

  • @ddhdearlove I would try to get your son to start a program called I-Doser. This program has an audio track of two different tones, one per ear. Listening to these sounds for extended periods of time will change the brainwaves in your child's head and make him peaceful such as the doses Calm Me, 5HTP, and also my favorite, Chakra. Those three I mentioned should be used at small amounts at first and a your child get used to it, he/she will be able to do the full dose...........Peace, Love, MIKE

  • @ddhdearlove Check out Dr Mark Hyman MD, he has many video's on youtube. He feels autism can be treated without talk psychology or drugs. I've meditated for 12 years, I think meditation is a wonderful 'gift', and if your child learns, it will benefit the child's life. But, I'm not sure meditation is your answer for autism or ADD. If you can't find the info, please e-mail!

  • Another form of meditation that i like to try is beating the shit out of my punching bag. You should try it man, it really does help centre yourself and calm you down. Just cause you're not sitting still doesn't mean it's not meditation :) just give it a shot anyway. Or go for a run. Whatever man but try something a little more hands on i recommend

  • does this help with depression and anger...I have just lost my 5 month old child to sids and I have alot of built up anger towards people and myself. I have tried everything and nothings worked to this point. I need to calm myself.

As a practicing meditator, which i will assume you must be, surely you realize that clarity of consciousness & a greater understanding of "the big picture" is one of the benefits of the discipline. So why does contrast give you cause for pause? Ours is a reality of contrasting, yet harmonious duality, Often what at 1st seems to make no sense, will when viewed from a broader perspective become a perfectly fitting piece of the universal puzzle.

  • this video helped me alot, i found i was trying to ignore all of the distractions whilst meditating. the end part made me realise just to switch the thought to the distraction and use it as a point of focus

  • I never said this. My comment was only about meditation. I am a Theravada Buddhist.Important are the four noble truths of suffering. And of course there is no caste because all living beeings are on the same level. All life has to be respected. In a caste saystem it is impossible, because one living beeing is diffrent than an other living beeing.

  • No you don't exactly feel like your floating, but you feel lighter, more relaxed both in your mind and body, and you can be any age to meditate, buddist monks start from a very young age. Hope this helps =)
