I know it's not supposed to be realistic, but this is really hilarious, because those guns were amazingly NOT accurate at all. They had to make lines of muskets exactly because that was the only way to be sure that you would hit the broadside of a barn. He'd probably be able to shoot a couple of the line infantrymen after they formed up, by shooting in their general direction, but they'd never hit the lone dudes, much less in the head.

This is so inaccurate. The British light infantry would chase them down until they were dead not haggle around and nobody could have been able to kill 30 redcoats, let alone by themselves.
@Mimsishere it's exagerated, but I suggest you read about the French and Indian war, or simply watch the video on youtube about the Battle of Monongahela. French and Indian used that guerrilla tactic against the British and they won many time, even when they were fighting 1 vs 10.

The British used it and at that time in history, Great Britain was the strongest nation in the world due to it's Army and Navy. Armies would usually meet on a large battlefield, and typically the army that lost was in chaos and confusion, which would cause them to break ranks and get "routed". This clip is an example of how guerrilla warfare could be effective against soldiers trained to fight a conventional style.

The largest group of colonists, especially in the South, were English indentured servants. There were many Scots-Irish, or as they're known where they come from "Ulster Scots" or "North Irish Protestants" (i.e. British). There were very few actual Irish people in the colonies.
