@Rsuana What does a turbo have to do with low revs??? And those "explosions" are called backfires. Anti-lag systems don't cause them, excess fuel causes them (from over-run, misfiring cylinder, or a very rich air/fuel mix).
@MudBarf Turbocharged cars many times rev lower than N/A cars, and some of them use anti-lag system, like all the Mitsubishis, Subarus and the Ford Escort Cosworths like the one in this video, this system produces the backfires to keep the turbo spining even when the car is braking, thats why you hear the backfires only when the car brakes.
The backfires are also produced in some N/A cars by misfiring, or when they change gear, etc
@Rsuana Turbo'd cars many times rev lower? No, sorry. They don't. In fact, turbo's work better at HIGHER revs, unless they're too small for the engine they're attached to (for quick spooling) in which case an anti-lag system is pointless. And those're generally installed in a twin-turbo setup with a larger turbo which takes over at higher revs.
As for the backfires, I wasn't talking about those. I was talking about the misfires you hear while the car is ACCELERATING around the bend. 4:53

4:33 - that Escort (Cosworth?) sounds like it's misfiring badly, and it also sounds like it's changing up very early - or are my ears deceiving me?

@MudBarf Obviously, it has low revs because it's turbocharged, and the explosions are from the Anti Lag System.
