America uses 98 QBTUs of energy per year. The WORLD consumption in 2002 was about 410 QBTU. With about 4.5% of the world population we are using about 1/4 of the world's energy.
Are you saying DON that we should just keep going along as if there is no end to fossil fuel consumption????
Each person in America consumes an energy equivalent of 58 barrels (@42 gal/bbl) of oil burned as fuel each year ....... american can't do better than that????
