Wat has changed? Since Howard was treasurer in the Fraser federal govt (1970's), there has been little improvement. Once he became PM, his regime exploited racism against refugees + then native Australians (still called "aborigines"). Really little govt expenditure has reached rural indigenous communities + they have been deprived for generations of services + facilities taken for granted in mainstream Australian communities. The NT Intervention was really a kind of mini martial law, uhh!

But I think that the first thing that ppl can do is to stop using the condescending white anthropological term "aborigine" once + for all, uhh. It is not their tribal name + referring to the ppl as native Australians or indigenous Australians would be a big help in combating the racism of white settler society.

Obviously those Whites 'down under' want to wipe out the Aboriginal population. They give them plenty of alcohol so they can abuse one another, allow them to live in shanty's to lower their life expectancies and infect them with diseases to kill them off. The white settlers have lived there for a few hundred years now. Why have they marginalised the Aboriginals and allow them to live a life of misery?
