Oh dear God why do you let such people have this many children? Stop overpopulating the world!!! There are already too many people suffering, especially from hunger and malnutrition, and the world doesn't need any more mouths to feed. We've cut down enough forests to build crops, built enough cages for meat, and the most we can do to reduce all the cruelty and injustice we've done to our planet is to have less children and to cherish the world we have instead of constantly changing it.
Even though I think 19 children is a little ridiculous, I'd rather have 19 people in this world that are self controlled, well reserved, and unlikely to get into trouble rather than 19 people who turn out to be murderers and thieves.

@kornsmom they have so many children because they had a miscarriage. she got pregnant while on birth control, and that is why the baby died. they felt so guilty, they decided to let God decide how many children they have. you really shouldn't talk about things you know nothing about. it is better to close your mouth, and have people THINK you're stupid, than to open it, and have them know.

I think modesty is important--how michelle dresses may be a little too modest for me, but being careful of what you're wearing is good, yes guys need to know how to control themselves too--but you cant just wear super skimpy clothes and just think "oh, well guys should just be able to control themselves...it's not my fault!"

Shoulders are not tools of lust except to men who are so overly sexed they get hard at the sight of rawr, ankles. They also have to accept Lustful thoughts will happen even if someone is covered up in something like hijab or in something as tiny as a bikini. @discotech1 Except I wasn't talking about rape, but thoughts- lusting, not raping. Rape is a horrible crime and in most cases it has everything to do with the guy. But I'm pointing out girls who complain about guys treating them like objects or not respecting them...which is always wrong, but they could help (and maybe attract better guys) by dressing more modestly, and respecting their bodies. If you want a guy to look at your face, you can help him out by wearing a higher-cut top.

I respect the family for being modest (it is actually very hard to do in this age) and their reason for doing so, so this point I'm going to make is related to them. I believe that it is the man's responsibility to prohibit lusting after women no matter what they are wearing. it is pathetic to blame a woman for a man's desire on the way a woman dresses in the event that the woman only dresses to please herself and not for the attention.

Michelle is a beautiful example of a woman seeking modesty, respecting husband's desires and opinions, and doing it with joy. I think it's totally honorable that she wanted a dress that would please her husband instead of herself. @wadyano;For some it might mean a new start again in their marriage.Vows are given promises to the bridecouple as well in front of God.It is easy to forget some of those given vows,and to give up easily when those bad times shows up a lot stronger than usual.For some vows might wear off,as there are many divorces happening.If some couples wishes to renew their vows,I then see it as a beautiful and new start made again by the two of them,and even a lot more serious commitment than the 1st time.

@wadyano I think most people renew their vows just as a way to say, "I love you". Plus, it's sometimes just to have the wedding they could afford when they first got married. Most people can't afford to have a really nice wedding when they're young, so renewing your vows is sorta like having the dream wedding you wanted years earlier.

There was an episode of 18 Kids and Counting when they visited the local school on Reading Day to role model how reading is fun. I have NEVER heard or read them saying state schools are evil.
